OK everyone listen up. The game is basically a pick. -110 is the starting point and favorites go higher in minus (-) numbers and dogs go bigger in plus (+). So -115 and -105 is Vegas way of saying its dead damn even. Somebody has to be a minus for the puckline (-1.5). So they chose UND but they give you an astounding +245 odds ( bet $100 win $245). Because they think it will be a tight one goal game. UND is not truly favored by 1.5.

Here is the deal with Barry Melrose: he know about 2-3 traits of about 5-10 players after speaking with them/SID on Wednesday. After that, he throws out a bunch of typical hockey traits to describe the guys he knows nothing about (the remaining 30 guys). "good hands, tough on puck, good skater, tenacious". Says same thing over and over again about the stars cause he only knows 2-3 things about them.
