I didn't call him an idiot. I just pointed out he made an idiotic statement.Joe Biden makes idiotic statements all the time and no one thinks he is an idi.....nevermind.
-
Wait....What? Did you just insinuate that I am a Gopher Fan?
-
You do realize that making idiotic statements like this destroy any credibility you would have here to discuss and be taken seriously about college hockey. There was a reason that UND recruited him as hard as they did. Him and Condon are what used to be and still is the stereotypical Sioux power forward. Budish will have a 8-10 year career in the NHL....bookmark that.

Floppers and Divers divisions....I kid, I kid.

NORTH DAKOTA @ MINNESOTA - Saturday, one last dance....

I am wondering what is going on with Chyzyk? Has pretty good scoring touch, isn't afraid to throw his body around. Unless he hasn't adjusted to the speed of the college game? Watched him play with the Force and he is way more skilled offensively than St. Clair, but maybe doesn't have Colton's motor. -

I thought so too...I rewinded and watched it a few times and went frame by frame.....it did not go in. It just floated by the far post after hitting the near post. -

I like Panzarella as well...Hak seems hesitant to play him on the big ice. -
Was there at the Excel in a Suite when that happened. Very surreal...it happened after a Gopher loss to CC if I remember right.

Lucia speaks for Broten, Woog and Parise and saves the world

So Hakstol was gracious and self depreciating at a Gopher Blue Line Luncheon.....weird. -

While I agree that has no place in the handshake line.....the handshake line is also not the place for Wheeler and Rau to be running their c*ck$uckers either. The last fight in this series that I remember was Rory McMahon feeding Mike Vanelli a few rights until he was begging for a left. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LhqkKpXIRqA Vanelli comes in late thinking he we will just do some pushing and shoving after the whistle like gophs always do, who knows maybe even give a guy the stinky mitt......you know gopher tough guy hockey and gets more than he bargained for. -
what you've just posted is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever read. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this thread is now dumber for having read to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

I agree with the 5 minute call. Budish was turning back towards the puck and trying to keep the puck in the zone while engaged with another UAA player. It might have been a 2 if the UAA player hadn't finished the hit like he did.

he may be discombobulated over the realization that Minnesota is getting the double whammy from Obama and governor Goofy.
-
I would bet and hope that we get Derek Shepherd and Marco Hunt this weekend. They are far and away the best tandem the league has to offer, which is sad..... Mousseaux and Morrison would be my 2nd choice. Brad Shepherd, Todd Andeson, and Don Adam need to be as far away from the John as possible.

Huge Lineup shakeup tonight. Gothberg Mac and Mattson Simpson and Panzarella Forbort and Schmaltz Mitch Mac, Knight, and Kristo Cagguila, Rowney, and Parks Odonnell, EZ Mac, and Rocco Jimmer, The General, and Gleason
-
I think having Knight alone gives a UND the best chance of winning and while Kristo is certainly deserving and talented, in the end I don't think he would have a legitimate chance of winning due to the criteria included for the award and some of the perceptions(some real, some created) with Danny.

Well...UND-Williston anyway.

No. Only by the uniformed. College teams are 18-23 year olds in general while Major Juniors are 16-20 year olds for the most part. Over 31% of the players in the NHL come from the college ranks while around 9% of players in the NFL come from the FCS level. As an example, UND had 18 players earn an NHL paycheck last year and has around 50-60 ex players earning a paycheck playing hockey, NDSU had 4 players earn an NFL paycheck last year...which is impressive, I am just pointing this out to show the different level of athlete that competes in NCAA hockey versus FCS football. For an American born player, 3 times as many that make the NHL coming from the college ranks than the Major Junior ranks. We are talking about moving to the next level here but as far as playing each other, a good college team would beat a good Major Junior team more often than not....but they should as their players are older and stronger.

Not really a personal attack....just pointing out a fact.

No real nice way to say this...You are a fu*kin* idiot. You have actually made some Bison posters here seem semi-intelligent by comparison.
-
And as much as it pains me to say it....If I was a bookie I would have them at even money or better to win it again next year. Jensen isn't a great QB by any stretch, but he is a winner and winners win.

Just maybe Housley benched Rocco to send a message to the team.....no one is above the team. In their 2 losses, rocco was argueably the most dynamic player on the ice for the U.S.---but we lost. If you remember they delayed the cuts coming out of the tryouts an extra day as rumors were they were unhappy with the effort of several of our players who all assumed they were on the squad, so maybe he was reaffirming the message that maybe hadn't stuck after tryouts. Housley has forgotten more about hockey than most on this board will ever know. i get it, Rocco is our guy. It is unfortunately similar to our society today where parents are overprotective of their kids and blind to what is actually happening. Seems rocco kept his head up and has played just fine the last 2 games.

I have been pleasantly surprised with St. Clair's play. After watching him play for the Force for a couple years and him having to sit out a year I really expected a guy like Chyzyk who has way better hands and a similar motor to get more playing time.
