Well at least we didn't pull a Texas and retire his number.(Durrant)

Dr. Lou's most amazing accomplishment as a coach was being able to figure out when the gig was up. He had perfect timing to be walking out the back door just as the NCAA investigators were coming in the front. Left a mess at every job for the next guy to clean up.

Well...yeah....There have been upsets in this rivalry 10 of the last 13 games.

Pretty sure he read my analysis here.

Pens should be alright now that they don't have to get worked by Philly anymore(0-8)

Heading out Wednesday. Staying at the Westin Copley in Back Bay.....can't wait!

Have you looked into that at all?

Seriously an assistant Principal at a pre school could have come up with a better process. You want name submissions then 1. have the UND Alumni Foundation send out an email to their alumni list with a secure link for them to be able enter their submissions and also send out postcards to those who may not use the computer that often with directions on who they can email to receive the same link for them to submit their names 2. UND can send an email to current students and faculty with the same info. That is it. Not that difficult. I don't care what Jethro from NDSU thinks would be a "funny" name. Committee and Prez pick out 2 or 3 names, check with the marketing experts to make sure the name and logo will be marketable and follow the same process as above.

I haven't submitted a name yet. I am considering something that would tie things up in a nice bundle to honor President Kelly's handling of this matter and honor his legacy at UND after he is gone. After some serious thought, the best I can come up with is CLUSTERFUCK

Based on what? Don't say non-conference record unless you are throwing out the fact they beefed up on Atlantic Hockey. Number of tourney entrants? Nope.
-
No. No they wouldn't.

This would be reason enough to back out of the Addidas deal.....absolutely atrocious.

Actually with the wristband distribution turning into an absolute clusterfuck on Saturday the guy just held out the box, I could have easily grabbed several wristbands which several people did, ran back to the hotel and ran off my tickets again since I assume the reason for the wristbands is there ticket system isn't complicated enough to scan a ticket leaving and recognize it coming back in.

Not that big of difference. RMU is #22 UMN is #13 PC is #14 Harvard is #15 UML is #17 Michigan is #21

2 Suites for the weekend recently became available. If anyone is interested, PM me and I can get you the necessary information. It is too late of notice for me to act on it as I just got the email last night.

2015 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament
petey23 replied to fightingsioux4life's topic in Men's Basketball
Well they did beat UND fairly easily in a closed door controlled scrimmage and took it to NDSU in their joint practice sessions. So yeah, pretty fair statement. -
Not until we get in the Summit!

2015 NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament

11-6 and maybe a 10-7 as Georgetown should have been about #25 which would give them the first 7 seed. -

Georgetown is way over seeded here. And playing on the west coast...I like EWU to be in this game until the end and would not surprise me at all if they were to win. On another note, my Terrapins got bent over by the committee. -
No. The Scouts did not rave about Brock other than his leadership qualities.

Darrel=take it with a grain of salt

I would say this team with this talent and coaching staff was competitive and easily left 9 wins on the table but I am not so sure I would look at that as a positive. Going into the NDSU game my friends in Fargo wanted me to give them points to bet that game.....think about that. And these are the same cocky rubes that will probably give me 35 points or more for the football game. I think I got points from them every year in football while UND was winning straight up every year.

I agree that Jones's seat should be a little warm after this season. I understand losing a bunch of seniors from last season but as a Coach who has been there for longer than 4 seasons it is also your responsibility for some continuity in the program. I know that a down year from the previous two years was expected and predicted but that doesn't mean it should be accepted. Next season we will find out if the 9 games(@SDSU-granted we got homered down the stretch but still should have been able to finish them off. Sacramento State-pissed it away. Northern Colorado-pissed it away and lost in OT. Weber State-pissed it away. Montana-had numerous opportunities to win this game at home. Montana State-pissed it away. Southern Utah-pissed it away. UNO-pissed it away. @Northern Colorado-choked away another one.) they either choked in or didn't show up for out of the gate is attributed to coaching or experience. If you want to blame experience or lack of it for letting 9 games slip away that is fine, but that excuse is gone next season. My expectations for next season and I would hope they are the same as the Athletic Department. Must compete for the regular season title and at worst a final 4 finish in the conference tournament. anything less and after 10 years it would be time to move on. I haven't been in the Fire Jones camp at all but that is where I am currently at. Just expect him to meet or exceed expectations.

Interesting. When I went to school in the late 80's there was no comparison over which Campus was nicer and had a better "feel" to it. NDSU seemed kind of barren. Over the last 20 years or so I think the NDSU campus has matured to the point where it is almost on par with UND.
