  1. And just posted this due to timing(received this email today from Promo Marketing) and being in the industry(corporate and athletic apparel). http://magazine.promomarketing.com/aggregatedcontent/under-armour-ceo-calls-adidas-our-dumbest-competitor?e=MIKE@COACHESCHOICEONLINE.COM#utm_source=threads&utm_medium=enewsletter_headline_story1&utm_campaign=2015-02-11
  2. I don't know the nature of his injury but..... 2011-12 (Freshman; New Mexico State): Played in six games for the Aggies in 2011-12 before sustaining a season-ending injury 2013-14 (Junior; New Mexico State): Did not see any game action. I know in 2013-14 he was initially suspended but remember hearing that he had an injury that didn't allow him to return to action. 06/23/2014 LAS CRUCES - Terrel de Rouen hoped to return to New Mexico State, but ultimately determined it would be more beneficial to leave his hometown to finish his college basketball career. The former OƱate and Aggies guard said Monday he had signed to play at the University of North Dakota after a three-year stay at NMSU that included two significant injuries and a suspension prior to the 2013-14 season. After a season-ending knee injury in his freshman season of 2011-12, de Rouen also underwent micro-fracture foot surgery in the weeks following the Aggies' NCAA Tournament season of 2012-13. On Monday, de Rouen said he was cleared to begin running two months ago. For the record I have no idea why Jones and staff are not happy with the Addidas program and am not saying they have an inferior product.....it does appear that Terrel has had less than good luck with Addidas shoes though?
  3. Lets just say of the 17 posts in that time thread, 12 of them were completely moronic. If you can figure out which side your post(s) fell on then good for you....if you can't, well then, it's probably bad news. I was actually surprised by a couple posters who are usually fairly level headed and intelligent, but the majority were made by the same idiots who wouldn't know how to put on a jockstrap.
  4. Pretty sure he was talking about the shoes. I gotta say though, I am pretty sure some sort of internet record was set this morning between 9:03 and 10:34 for the largest number of posts in 1 thread by people who have absolutely no clue what the hell they are talking about. Carry on.
  5. Obviously teams will still move around a bit. This current bracket moves 2 teams up above their normal seed in the same region and creates a balance that is maybe a little to out of whack. You have 34, 33, 37, and 32. Basically moving the 15 and 10 to trade spots with the 14 and 9. I can see why you would want to move Providence but Quinnipiac moving is a stretch. It's all speculation at this time anyway. Problem is you have a logjam right now of Eastern teams filling the 16, 15, 13, 12, 11, and 10 spots and west teams filling the 1,2,4,5, 6,7, 8, and 9 spots.....need to mix those up a bit.
  6. My buddy did a ride along in Fargo the other day. They had a DUI arrest where the guy was .44. My friend said the guy was fairly functional and able to converse at that level. The cops said the guy probably goes through life at around .25 normally.
  7. Buzzed=.02 to .06 Bizzed=.20 to .60
  8. 1 ball was at that level. Do we even know if that ball was ever put in play? they have 12 and I don't think they rotate them in to use them all. How about the 2-3 refs that handle the ball on every down.....Not a Patriots fan but this whole thing was blown way out of proportion with half facts and most of the information not researched before ESPN had to "break" the story.
  9. And numerous sources have said that more often than not the ref squeezes the ball and sticks it in the bag. They rarely use the gauge.

    The Truth

Well, Mr. Engelstad has passed away but I think I can speak for him and say Eat a Dick.

    pop quiz

UND is 4-1 in the Fargo dome. They built it, but UND owns it. For awhile NDSU contemplated replacing the turf in the dome with paper since the bison were always better on paper. Have your son tell the teacher that NDSU must be a pretty good program seeing as how they have managed to actually beat UND 41% of the time when they play.
  12. I would have to agree. Seems to be 2 unrelated things to me. Chris Dilks may in fact hate UND but nothing in this little blurb would lead anyone to believe that? Facts are facts and UND has beaten quite a few bad teams this year....which is better than the alternative.
  13. Maybe he realizes that he is currently playing with his possible future line mates and while they are scoring quite a bit, they are getting scored on even more often.
  14. It would appear that UNDBIZ and choyt3 are wondering why you seem to have a ton of opinions on several different sports and coaches but with each of your multitude of posts in this forum it has become glaringly and in some cases painfully obvious that you really don't have much understanding or the capability to understand the sports you blather on about......................................just a guess on my end, I don't want to speculate ?
  15. Try living in Fargo....I have several friends who are Bison fans and are good people....it really is the few rotten thousands that spoil it for the other 50.
  16. If those numbers are accurate, a crazy amount of FCS players have made their way onto NFL rosters over the last 2 seasons! In 2012, 8.32% of players on NFL rosters came from the FCS ranks so if this number is accurate that has almost doubled to 16.2%. Amazing when you consider that last year the number had dropped to about 7%. http://www.foxnews.com/sports/2013/01/22/in-fcs-huddle-nfl-all-fcs-team/ The number of college players in the NHL has grown quite a bit the last few seasons. 31% last year http://collegehockeyinc.com/in-the-nhl and over the last 7 years over 35% of players making their debut have come from the college ranks. I am thinking the 352 number must have been training camp numbers when rosters are at 90 which would be around 12% and then after cuts with allowance for injured reserve and practice squads it settles in at about 8-9% which to me is still an impressive number when you think about it. that is roughly between 150-200 players that either by choice or by being overlooked by the FBS schools have made it to the NFL....there certainly is something to be said for developing at a FCS school where a player might start for 2-4 seasons versus maybe only starting for a year or 2 at a higher level.
  17. Comprehension seems to be a problem for you. I didn't say that every FBS team is ahead of every FCS team....at the end of the day, NDSU and UND and every other school in FCS is competing for 129th place while the 128 FBS teams are competing for 1st.....but, hey, thanks for proving my point!
  18. I absolutely want UND football to succeed but I am also able to keep it in perspective and realize that success means getting the opportunity to play for 129th place in Division 1 football. Many, not all, but way more than a few of the bison fan base have a hard time grasping that concept.
  19. Ohio state is an outlier. They play by a different set of standards than the rest of the teams in the Big 10 with regard to who they recruit and who they let into school....They were dirty with Tressel and with Urban they are a kind of clean SEC school. Them winning really shouldn't elevate the B10 from the fact they were the 4th best conference in football.
  20. I would agree with him. Ohio State winning tonight just solidifies the fact that the FBS did things wrong for too many years and that they need to make the playoff field 8 teams as the team who if not for political influence and size and money would have and should have been the 5 seed based upon their regular season just won the national title.
  21. I heard over the weekend that our coach is quietly on the radar of a couple schools.
  22. I grew up in Bismarck and have a couple friends that are big NDSU fans and they were on Facebook on Saturday and texting me how if the fact that Carson Wentz and Esley Thornton, 2 Bismarck kids make the 2 biggest plays in leading NDSU to their 4th straight championship can't help NDSU at least be on equal footing with UND in Bismarck that nothing probably could.
  23. Well. Under Armour did pass Adidas this year, but has a way to go to get to NIke. U.S Sales Nike-$11.8 billion Under Armour-$2.6 billion Jordan Brand-$2.5 billion Adidas-$1.6 billion
  24. Well, this would have been Carson's 3rd year as a starter at UND so he would have been a great benefit!
  25. Good assessment. I thought the calls evened out as they usually do.....one sequence that hurt UND was when we were up 2 and Sac State missed a shot and Dustin Hobaugh was grabbed by the shoulder and thrown to the floor which allowed for the tying put back and then on the ensuing possession, Hooker drove the lane and his shot came off the rim and Nash had a beautiful put back to give us the lead and they called over the back as he made contact at the end of the play with a Sacramento State player who was directly under the rim.....just gets magnified when one was a very obvious mised call followed by a ticky tac call(at best).
