I am guessing since he left Collins on the floor that he was concerned about getting the rebound and if this was the case he probably should have told them to use the timeout if their shooter missed. I would prefer to grab the rebound and go like we did so they can't set up a defense but we should have had Brick, Geno, Q, Mac, and Baldwin on the floor. We were also lucky that they missed free throws as I didn't like us looking for a 3 with 27 seconds left and down 3....extend the game go to the rack as most times you get an uncontested layup as they don't want to foul.

With our remaining schedule we should go 4-1 at the worst. Do that and see how it shakes out.

This^. If UND was to turn it over to the Tribes and the Tribes were interested in making money and lots of it, they would flood the market with Sioux apparel all over North Dakota and online and Hawks apparel would barely make a blip. As it is with UND in control of the logo they have control of how and when and where it is marketed. The Logo is NEVER going away......and it shouldn't ever go away completely. I know that our education system is rewriting history books but the Sioux name should always remain a part of UND's history.

The only positives out of this game were our compete level and the fact we didn't panic. As far as the game goes, about everything that could go right for EWU did and everything that could go wrong(foul trouble, missing numerous shots through contact at the rim, etc.) for UND did and we kept after it. This is a game that in the past might have snowballed into a 30-35 point loss.

The flu is running through the locker room however.

Then why wouldn't UND just use the Dacotah Legacy Collection as an excuse to keep rolling out Sioux merchandise? Financially it would be in UND's best interest to do so as Hawk's merchandise will be lucky to ever even provide 50% of the revenue that Sioux merchandise could.

Not to go into too much backstory here, but I am pretty sure the Bison staff has done a good job of looking after this kid and doing what is best for him and in the end will do what is best for their program and Mr. Dupree. I don't think we need to create issues where there are none......NDSU does a fine job of creating legitimate issues on their own.

I have been there a few times. Pretty good time! The Kolpack Christmas part was always fun too.

I am pretty sure he had a baby before he even arrived on campus. He probably misses his kid and girlfriend if they are back in New Town. We don't know the family circumstances and maybe it isn't possible for her and the child to live in Grand Forks from a financial standpoint. Tough decisions for a young kid to make. Wish him the best.
