A friend of mines nephew played there a couple years ago. It never worked out for me to get to a game down there unfortunately but he said it is a great college town. I will gather additional details.

I guess we will see what happens in Big Sky play. We played UTAH who has a very good defense, Missouri State who is a bad team but they do focus on stopping the run and USD who is either very improved at stopping the run or we are in trouble. If our offensive line isn't able to control the line of scrimmage and get to the 2nd level with blocks it might be time to go to more 3 wide receiver sets and use Cloyd or a 4th receiver split off the line as well. Spread the defense out a bit and still have a primary focus of running the ball but make teams spread out their defense and not be able to stack 8 and 9 in the box. Throw some quick passes and bubble screens and use Keaton's running abilities again as well.

Entire team not ready to play. Getting horribly out coached and out schemed. So many mental mistakes.

They wanted to be able to say they had committed to college and in return their parents hope other kids become interested in their "school".

I would give him a C. First 2-3 drives had some head scratchers for sure. 3rd and a short 1 and we run a play that starts 7 yards deep? Wasn't too happy with the 3rd down call that led to missed field goal either. After that it was alright.

It is almost like he had an 8 a.m. deadline and started at around 5 a.m. and didn't want to wake anyone up to verify his facts. He will be a star in todays world of journalism!

Wow. Yes, Iowa was drastically overrated based on their team the year before but to call NDSU overrated is quite the stretch.

Played a National Softball Tournament in Las Cruces a few years back. We flew into El Paso and made the short drive in rented vans to Las Cruces...we were told under no circumstances should we take the vans to Jaurez.

Just turn the volume down on your TV if you are so offended. I go to the games and have heard them the last couple years when they have tried to introduce the new name to scoring and penalty announcements....it was funny at first and still kind of is but it is getting to be less all the time.

You should send them a stern email.

If he boycotted no one would notice.

So then get someone in a position of authority with a little bit of common sense and walk back the decision to get rid of the interlocking UND logo.

Some do, some don't. Seems to be a lot of hand wringing over putting our postage stamp logo on the ice.

Pete Stewart. Played basketball at UND. Was a 6-6 quarterback in High School. Great athlete. I think he had talked about sticking around for another semester and playing football but then I think he got some offers to play pro ball overseas.
