Kid has been really solid for us thus far. Great transfer. -

Played better versus actually being better is kind of where I am going on that one. I left that weekend saying we're as good or better than that team. I've felt that with every team we've played. -

I saw it intentionally. Miami isn't a heavy forechecking team, so they worked to get the puck out in transition through the middle a lot and were a bit more deliberate. That caused us to make a few stupid passes, but it worked out fine for most of the weekend, IMO. -

I mean, I wouldn't go THAT far haha. I said it earlier and I'll say it again, being No. 1 in the country at any point in the season in any season is nothing but a positive for the program. -

It really is. Feels like it's been a really long time - 20-21 feels like ages ago. -

Great call. They've been as good, if not better, than every team they've played this season. -

LOL why does it have to make a memory? It's a reflection of the current point in time. Not a long-term achievement. It's ALWAYS good for the program when we have the No. 1 in front of our name, no matter the season. -

How can it do nothing for you all? I totally get it, but it's absolutely a reflection of good things for our team. Doesn't guarantee, of course, but cmon... you can't tell me it's not nice to see our favorite team's name on the top of the list. Enjoy the dang ride! -
OMac is out, but I love the rest of it
-
The toe drag dish to Albrecht may be the play of the year for the team and that says a lot because of how talented the forward group is with the puck.
-
HA! Definitely.
-
Dang it. OMac out. Kid has been SO good lately. Really strong season to start. Hoping it's pre-cautionary considering opponent? Idk. Ugh. EDIT: Just was told he's sick. Nothing to be worried about.
-
Definitely not a lack of faith in him. He's at UND for a reason. Flat out a lack of experience. All of that said, I know our offense will be able to score against Miami, which is why I wouldn't hate if he saw the net.
-
I wouldn't hate seeing him, but we need a sweep against this team for PWR.
-
Well, I won't pick a shutty for Ludvig tonight. Maybe I jinxed him lol. He'll be back to his early season self tonight, IMO. UND wins 7-2 Gaber x2, Blake, Strinden, James, Jammer, Pyke... Perron with 3 assists.

#firesandy? Simple questions. -
Miami @ UND - Friday Gameday - Ludvig's Revenge Rd. 1!

I agree. I hope we do get him some time soon, though. I honestly have no idea is Persson would come back next season, but he can. With that said, we need Hobey to get some net sometime this season. I think collectively as a program we're so nervous about bad PWR losses because they've haunted us a few times over the past five years or so. Kind of reminds me when we were playing Lake State in the 2014-15 season. Zane was the clear No. 1 with Cam on the bench. Cam came in and got lit up, I think it was 3 goals on like 8 shots, and got yanked. Well, we know how it worked out the next season LOL. -

I understand the desire for that stuff to never happen, but you're making it sound endemic. This d-corps has been impressive all season. I feel like those were two pretty significant, general sweeping statements for a team that has been wholly consistent for 11 games. Are you genuinely concerned that these two things are a big problem? If so, I guess I watched a different game than you last night. -

Not sure what was up with Persson last night. But, he's earned the benefit of the doubt, IMO. I think he'll be sharp tonight. Yep, we were 4-5-2 last year through 11 games. Dang good swing. -

Looking a little deeper into it, Miami scored back-to-back goals within about a minute of each other TWICE in this game, once in the second and one with basically no time left in a blowout. That's a few bad shifts. Last year's team would collapse for 30 minute stretches. Outside of those two spurts, it wasn't even close. Do I want UND to never have these things happen, of course. But, I'll say it again, that game was never in doubt. Do it again tonight. -

My only concern coming out of last night is that we had two or three spurts of playing down to Miami. This happens. That game was never in doubt, at all, IMO. Looking back at Ludvig's goals, 3 of 4 were through screens and all four came back-to-back in quick succession when the boys got a little lax. I am not worried about him whatsoever. Roll it off tomorrow and get the sweep as UND is significantly a better team. -
Kid has been unreal this year and I think it continues this weekend. Shutty in his first game against the RedHawks I have a little concern that UND could have a small let down after a run of really important games, but we're just a flat out better team and we keep rolling. 5-0 UND Perron, Wiebe, Blake, OMac, Ness

Or, you know, we could just destroy them because I never want to lose to Denver because eff Denver LOL Totally get where you're coming from haha.
