Is there even a breath of proof to this really gross accusation? If not, bringing this here is actually worse than the accusation. This seems like complete and utter BS.

Get the win. It's really that simple. Keep momentum going into the break. UND wins 5-2 Gaber, Blake, Perron, Livanavage, Schmaltz

I saw he was a healthy scratch the past three games. Never a good look for a player, IMO. I get it, but dude, work harder? Idk In this situation, he came in to the program with a different coach and maybe he fell out of favor.

I think we're all aware of this. Nothing wrong with talking about possibilities in a place where we all talk about maybe things, including possibilities lol. -
That and, I'd love to send Omaha's season again.
-
Wait, I am very confused. Admittedly, I did not go through the thread completely, but are some saying that shooting and goaltending are WEAKNESSES on this team? Um, what?

Oh, Oxbow. Why are numbers so scary to you, man?!? Makes sense this year, doesn't it? Seems like we possess the puck a lot and we're pretty good at potting so far this year lol -

Fun stat for analytic haters: Our favorite xG says UND should be 13-3 this season. We are 12-3-1. -
That's fair to think and honestly that helps reinforce my initial premise that we're a better team. Top to bottom, I think our forward depth is better, our top end forward talent is better, and we defend better. This includes all three zones. I'd give them the nod on offense from the d-corps.
-
No, read my first post. The second paragraph. It's about our players being better. I'm saying the result only proved me right/reinforced. Had we lost that game, I would have said the same thing. Our players are better. It's also not based on one game. I've watched UND all season and watched DU now, I think, 5 times. Last night only reinforced.
-
Nope. Goodness, did you not read what I said? I'm talking about their players. Then, the players played and showed UND was the better team and result proved it. Unless there's a dramatic change tonight, I think UND showed last night they are the better team.

It is an incredibly douchey celly and that's clearly why we kept doing it as a response. Loved it so much.

Denver is good. Very fast, talented, and skilled. However, my goodness 3 of those 4 first period goals were garbage. Very few grade As all night and kept them wholly to the outside. I'd love to see the shot chart. Persson wants a couple back, but made some big saves, too. Overall, our forward depth is better than DUs and outside of Rizzo and maybe Devine, our top end forward talent is better, too. Those two could likely find a top 6 spot, but whom would you take Rizzo or Devine over on our top 6? We are definitely better on the backend. Goaltending isn't close. That tendy was outmatched by our skill. I'll say it... UND is better than Denver and the final result only proved that. .
-
I have no inside info on this one. My guess... probably correct. Remember... "didn't want" and "didn't press for" are very different.
-
Beat me to it. Was gonna say.... yep, that's kind of what we do lol.
-
Just because you were there, doesn't mean you'd remember it
-
I think a couple of them were funny, but the dog bowl? C'mon. That one is stupid and lazy. HA, those UND fans sure are dogs. Lame and lazy. The beer shooter one was amusing.
-
This, and we just got a commitment from the No. 1 rated NA goalie in Caleb Heil. So.... I get what you're saying, but is it really that a big deal?
-
I've watched a few of their games so far. Honestly, I don't think they are as good as they were last year simply based off the games I watched. Digging into their 14 games, they've allowed 4+ goals 6 times and 3+ goals 8 times. On the other end, they've scored the most goals in the country with 77, scoring 5.5 per game, but have only faced two teams in the Top 20 of goals allowed per game. Simply put, they haven't seen a defense like ours. Their defense looks a step worse than last year and the goaltending is obviously a question mark. Get a win on Friday to give us a chance to see if we can walk out of Denver with A LOT of swagger.
-
In statistics, that's called an outlier lol.
-
I'll never understand why people get so bothered by this statistic. It's analytics. Just a way of look at the game. Expected DOES NOT mean it will happen. It's really that easy.

The newly-minted No. 1 team faces their Hwy 2 rival, the Feisty Bemidji State Beavers. Four non-con games left and we're 5-2-1 thus far. Not must haves, losses would not be good for the PWR. Prove we're the dang No. 1 team in the country.
