100% agree. I am bummed with how Hoff played this year. Idk, maybe the Olympics thing was a distraction? We need him to be a consistent contributor. But, this team has PLENTY of talent and our pipeline is really good.

Again, with this narrative... look at the pipeline again... Especially on the back end. WHY is that constantly being ignored? Also being ignored was the team feeling Jost would be here this past year. Why the such aggressive lack of insight on this? We have one down scoring year and suddenly we have a recruiting problem. If Gooch scores 20 goals next year or if Adams pops 15 or 20, does this just magically go away?

I don't think anyone was arguing if it was funny. A lot of that stuff was funny. But, kind of an odd choice, IMO.

I don't disagree. A lot of it was spot on. I thought a lot of it was funny. Regardless, mocking a massive fanbase like ours isn't a great business model lol. As far as how the "rest of the nation views us"... CHN is not what I'd call a good reflection of how people see UND.

In the short term, absolutely. However, the long-term ramifications? Alienating the largest (at least one of the the largest) and most passionate fanbase in a niche sport is NOT a good business move. While pretty darn funny, it was very unprofessional. When there are like three respectable college hockey websites in existence, this isn't showing any other than bias and pettiness, IMO.

I still don't get the argument of cheering for our conference rivals. They are our biggest rivals outside of Minny. Why do we want them to win? The NCHC is already recognized as the toughest in college hockey. I'm gonna vomit if Duluth wins.

The past three seasons, it's on par, at least for me.
