  1. I'm 100% on board with this.
  2. Not many contributing, but their underclassmen (outside of Borgstrom, of course) didn't do much this year outside of Ian Mitchell.
  3. Adams needs to hit the weigh room hard. The reason he sat so much is that he gets knocked off the puck WAY too easily. When he gets space, he's got pure talent. But, he couldn't make space often enough because of this size. Hoff looked great great against Duluth. He'll be a key to next year.
  4. When did I say this??? Hahaha wtf??
  5. And what's your point? They missed the tourney, too.
  6. I mean, I thought our 16-17 team was playing pretty d@mn well at the end of the year and it took a call that would be a legal play this season to keep us out of the regional final. All seasons have issues ... outside of 15-16, of course
  7. AGAIN.... this is assuming our current players won't develop and that all of the freshmen coming in are EXACTLY what their juniors numbers are... this is such a stupid assumption.
  8. Agreed.... Hmmm... two of our best players are hurt.... both of which are centermen.... we played Johnny Simonson as our second-line center. No big deal... this team HAS to make the tournament with this. LOL.
  9. Again, these are all assuming that these things will happen for a second-straight season, which is absolute insane considering we've had 16-straight tourney appearances. Some assuming our team won't improve and that goes against what our program has done for YEARS, develop NHL-ready players.
  10. Our Sophs this year and some of our Juniors had a rough year, no doubt, but what about the growth of a guy like Kawaguchi? What about Kierstad? Man, this is exhausting.
  11. What are the red flags? We have a bunch of recruits (stud D men, I might add) that we have NO clue if they are going to be stars. We all liked Hoff when he came in from the USHL and he's not yet lived up to billing. We've also had guys like Connor Gaarder come in and light it up as a senior. There's just so much assumption on here.
  12. One season. One. Average. Season. In which we could have EASILY made the tournament. If the same thing happens next year -- we blow an insane amount of leads, we don't get forward scoring, etc., etc. -- then I'll be concerned. This board is just REFUSING to see this as anything but a potential aberration. Do you all honestly believe we'll blow 6 2+ goal leads next year? It's ridiculous that some have already waived the white flag on NEXT season. It's crazy! We're assuming our players won't develop. HOW are we assuming this kind of stuff when we've had one season below our standards in 16 years??? HOW? JUST CALM DOWN.
  13. Back on track... Hold a 3-goal lead in Miami. We're there. I just don't understand why everyone feels the sky is falling.
  14. This whole thread is conjecture lol.
  15. The official one is at McGovern's
  16. Friday - Rhett Saturday - Jones
  17. UConn, right?
  18. Definitely!
  19. So admittedly, certainly not monster NHL careers, but those guys have been pretty good.
  20. I just listed them out... Hale over 100, Lee over 200 ... Forbort is already over 100.
  21. Not many NHL games? Herter and Finley were low, but the rest have 100+, 200+, 100+ and is becoming a permanent staple and Schmaltz is becoming more important. Of course NHL teams want LOADS of games from their first rounders, but most of these player have had and will have good NHL careers.
  22. Precisely. It's a compliment, to me
  23. No need to be sorry! It's a pretty normal reaction for any fanbase to be defensive when feeling slighted. No biggy.
  24. Exactly. We just need to stop feeling so slighted. He wrote this as a compliment to us. In summation... UND is good, our fans travel, everyone hate us for these two reasons and that kind of messes up the regional. Done lol.
