Everybody is bad.

Very disappointing so far. Can't shoot nor rebound again. Have never seen bigs like ours that don't have a clue how to box out. See what 2nd half brings.

How many wins does everyone think it will take to make the conference tournament? Last year I believe 8-12 made it but I believe 10-10 will make it this year. For us to get a 2 seed I believe we will need to win at least 12 games.

Totally agree on 2,3 and 4. Not much teamwork, can't compare records between d2 era and D1 era and the odds of UND ever making the Elite 8 in D1 is slim to none. Topic 1 , hopefully the talent level in 5 years is better than this current group of seniors otherwise the coaches have not done their jobs very well. However, this class of seniors is a very good class considering they had a nothing conference with no chance of the NCAA for 2 years and yet we got them to UND and what this group of 5 has done from the beginning in wins and post season tournaments during the transitions years is really remarkable. Yes it could have been better if there was more of a team structure but they have won 2 conference championships, placed 3rd in the first year in the Big Sky ( best ever for first year team) and played in 3 consecutive post season tournaments not a bad legacy. The final chapter is still yet to be written and just maybe one more conference tournament championship and the DANCE.

Amazing win giving up a million offensive rebound. Worst rebounding effort I think I have ever seen but its a win on the road.

Players do not know how to box out. Watch when they shoot a free throw our guys are pushed right under the basket instead of pushing them away from the basket. Basic fundamentals these guys dont know how to do.

Outrebounded 30-10 so far. BOX out.

Things are starting to get out of control with us and the refs. Nash is just not effective against a zone.

We play better team ball when we are zoned. Been that way for several games that teams have zoned us. Just need to keep it going.

I understand what everyone is saying but we have 2 very good shooters in Stefen and Schuler and yet neither one gets enough shots during a game to get into any flow. They are both open on almost every possession but the ball does not find a way to them. They both have the ability to shoot lights out if given the chance. Schuler has the best mid range pull up jumper on this team and yet Jones does not ever have players set a screen for him. All his pull up jumpers are created on his own, he should have screens set for him several times a game for a pull up. What I like so much about Schuler is he is the most unheralded player on this team for 4 years and he just goes about his business and has put up very impressive numbers for hardly touching the ball. Even when he is not scoring he is doing the little things that most fans dont realize cause most just look at points and nothing else. I am a huge fan that just like's the way he makes the players on the court better when he is in at any position. As far a rebounds greenteam he may not get many but as the coach stated the other day he boxes his guy out so that in most cases his guy does not get the rebound either. He needs to be on the floor at least 20+ minutes and get around 6-7 shots a game.

Problem is they don't have a team they have individuals. That is Jones fault.

I agree Huff gives up more points on defense than he scores on offense. That is a fact if you watch the game. Teams always go on big runs on us because we start playing selfish and poor shots lead to lay ups for the other team. What has Stefen done the last 2 games since everyone is riding Schuler so bad. Put Schuler at the 2 and 3 and he can play but Jones will not do this. I like Stefen a lot and we have done some really good things when Stefen and Schuler are in at the same time, both play solid and take great shots and move the ball to the open man. On another subject Jones made comment on how Nash let the game come to him last night and shared the ball very well. I don't remember Nash sharing the ball and he made drives and back to back turnovers that led to dunks at the other end at a crucial time in the game but that is ok. The problem is this team does not play consistant team ball and you never know what they are going to do and Jones does not control them at all.

He deserves to be in there more because he plays as like a player should (TEAM) , next he has the best fundamentals of any player on this team, he doesn't force shots and takes only great shots, next he plays probably the best defense on the team as he stays in front of his guy and switches to help others that can't and stops drives and next he has a career 2 to 1 assist/turnover ratio so he protects the ball unlike most on this team and he is the only one that boxes his ass off even though guys are 6 inches taller than him. He just plays the game as it should be played and makes the others on the floor with him better. When he started at the 2 several weeks ago he averaged almost 10 a game where he should be. He is by far our best backup at the 2 and 3 but for some reason Jones buries him at the 4. Yes is shot has been off but he has proven many times over and over he is a big offensive threat when he gets shot. How is a shooter like Schuler and Stefen ever going to get into the flow when they stand wide open and selfish players never pass the ball and they only get 2- 4 shots over the course of a game. I have been a huge fan of his since the first game I saw of him cause the way he plays but now everybody wants him out cause Jones has him out of position and nobody can see everything he brings just because he is not scoring does not mean he is playing bad. At this point I can't wait till next year so maybe all these selfish players are gone and hopefully Jones can handle our future players better.

8 teams are separated by only 1 game for 3rd thru 10th place in the standings. 4 teams at 6-5 and 4 teams at 5-6. It's going to be a crazy finish as to who gets into the conference tournament. Looks like it will be played at Weber.

Jones has been preaching sharing the ball. Nash shot 21 times, Huff shot 14 times and 15 free throws and Webb shot 9 times. Outside those the most anyone else shot was 6 times and then a few 2 times. Tell me how that is sharing the basketball? Looks as if we should only put 3 guys on the floor and 2 of those 3 are our worst defenders. I am almost switched over to fire Jones. If he is only going to play 5 guys for almost the entire 40 minutes and we don't share the ball as he preaches I don't expect things to go to well.

Jones has destroyed any confidence Schuler had left by sitting him all but 5 minutes. He's solid and can contribute in many ways but tough when he has him out of position and playing 5 minutes. Good job Jones.

Agree, those last second shot clock three's were ridiculous and so many of them. We can't turn the ball over carelessly like we did against Portland State if we expect to win. This win would be huge and I'm sure there will be around 6000 Weber fans hoping this does not happen. Probably the toughest environment to win in.

I agree it's not time. This is only our 2nd year in the Big Sky and we finished third last year and are currently sitting at 3rd this year. It will take more than 2 years to become a Montana or a Weber State and we have done a pretty good job competing in this league so far. Expectations are high this year I understand with everything returning but other teams have just as much coming back with just as much experience and teams like Montana and Weber recruit much better players than UND to begin with so they are ahead of us from the beginning. Not sure if UND will ever attract players like Weber and Montana does but we can only hope so. This team has won 4 of their last 5 and should have a 5 game winning streak if we could have made 1 or more plays last night. We are only 2 games out of first right now with a great chance of finishing in the top 3 again and once we enter the tournament I like our chances as well as anybody cause any team in this league can beat the other. Schuler should not be a 4 agree, but thats what the coaches are asking him to do. He has played every position on this team because he is doing whatever the coaches have asked him to do and to do whatever helps the team with little regard to how his body has been beaten up playing down low. Can't blame him for the coaches constantly playing him out of position. He brings alot to this team when he is on the floor even if he is not scoring and thats why he is playing. He has scored double digits in half the games he has started recently so hopefully his shot comes back for the stretch run because when he is shooting well this team is at another level.

Schuler plays the 4 and Stefen plays the 3. I'm sure you realize this. Maybe if Schuler got the ball more when he is open he can do some things. Up until tonight he was the 4th leading scorer on this team. Yes he is struggling with his shot but he brings solid defense and take care of the ball unlike others tonight on this team.
