I don't mind talking about Eichel a lot, but it's the absolute raging hard-on for Eichel when he does nothing. Buccigross literally yelled when Eichel got passed the puck the 1st time "EICHEL WITH SPACE!"... there were 3 UND players surrounding him. Buccigross is fine for promoting the game but I don't want my cheerleaders announcing, it cheapens the sport. Excitement is one thing, but when Buccigross freaks out everytime a player shoots the puck from literally anywhere on the ice it gets old. I'd rather have nothing than Buccigross, which is why I had to mute the game at times.

Are you listening to the same guy? I mean I'm 28 so not super far away from college(although now that I think about it I kind of am) but BUccigross(see what I did there) had a mega Eichel-boner in the semifinals and was outwardly ecstatic when BU clinched the game with the ENG.

I'm interested to see who actually wants Hakstol fire or if they're all just blowing smoke.

And THAT is your issue? That you think some fans blindly support Hakstol? Not that you want him fired? If this is what your problem actually is, get a freakin hobby.

So you think UND's coaches, players and staff that put their asses on the line every day settle for being there? Have they ever struck you as a team that has the "happy to be here" attitude at the Frozen Four? It's asinine that because some fans enjoy consistently having a shot in the last weekend of the year equates to the team settling for anything. Go tell MacMillan he settled for only getting to the Frozen Four and not skating, go tell Hak he settled by only winning a league championship and losing in the Frozen Four, and tell Pattyn he settled in his career as a Sioux player when he's shaking hands with his left arm because he can't lift the right one. Report back to us on their reply when you tell them they "settled".

Apparently some fans in Fargo had their flight delayed and then cancelled due to bad weather in Chicago. Now their new flight is scheduled to arrive in Boston at 5PM and that's IF it is on time. I feel for those people, that's terrible luck.

I've wanted to go on one of these trips for a long time. They sound like a blast. Hopefully they are still running them for the Chicago Frozen Four in a few years! Al's seats are up near my parents' seats so I'm very familiar with him. He is an icon to Sioux hockey fans.

Yeah, I'd like to see them play like they did against St. Cloud. Parks essentially got that goal off of LJ's bad angle shot. I don't think that counts as a goal without Parks diving and pushing the puck into the net not allowing the goalie to cover it. They also both created the goal that was credited to Drake as Parks drove the net on it bringing his man with him.
