Yeah that is what I picked, only one that I really went back and forth on was Ohio State/Oregon. Got Ohio State over Penn State in my championship.

Nobody does, they are officiated differently by each crew, conference, and even game to game. I did not think today's should have been a target just based on ball was tipped the safety had his head up and did not launch or lead with the crown of his helmet. I would not have been surprised if it was called because nobody really knows what exactly targeting is. To me there needs to be some kind of intent like the launch or crown and there wasn't there. Would Jeremiah Smith already be a top 10 WR in the NFL?
  3. Really ugly first 10-15 minutes but steadied after that and made enough plays to get the win. Perron had some absolutely great chances that you can't believe he doesn't finish.
  4. Very frustrating performance. Team did just enough last night to avoid the catastrophic loss. Backs are against the wall and the squad needs to start playing like that and showing some desperation.
  5. Likely will be available on onhockey.tv as well
  6. Solid weekend of hockey and 2 very much needed wins. Don't think Duluth finishes higher than 7th this season.
  7. Really hope Hedquist can take the starting job and run. Wasn’t sold on Semptimphelter being capable of being the guy and he has done absolutely nothing to inspire confidence so far.
  8. Much better hockey this weekend than last weekend. Goaltending has to be better.
  9. Damn forgot to make a pick, woulda went James today
  10. Solid 3rd period and got the needed result but absolutely unacceptable first 2 periods. Slow to pucks, sloppy in every facet, and just didn’t look engaged.
  11. Thought it was a much more aggressive engaged effort all around last night. Definitely some things to clean up specifically in the defensive zone and need to be stronger with some of the passes in the neutral zone.
  12. I'm a Gopher fan in everything but hockey so I disagree with most of what you have here obviously. I've had my problems with PJ's conservative philosophy over the years and it is nice to see him actually evolving a little this season. I watched every minute last night and didn't see any huge empty sections. Not only was Brosmer easily in on 4th down but he was in on 3rd. Those officials were horrible all night especially when it comes to spotting the ball. They made no effort to hustle in and look to see if Brosmer was in and looked like they didn't even want to make the call. USC's first TD was because a 3rd down play at the 10 was spotted a yard and a half off because the ref was way behind the play so it becomes a 1st down instead of 4th and 1+, Driver stepped out at the 1 pretty clearly and they ruled it a TD on the field but review caught that one, numerous times DEs were tackled and no holding call but they throw one on a WR on a big play and there was nothing here. My biggest problem with replay is this stupid part that says you need conclusive evidence. Half the time you can see the guys on the field have no idea what the actual call should be so why do we then need conclusive evidence to change that? I'm more than fine using common sense in a lot of these situations and I'm happy we are starting to see that more like the 2 situations you mentioned.
  13. He did blow multiple games late with crazy bullpen decision's though and a collapse like this someone is taking the fall.
  14. What a performance defensively against one of the top offenses in football.
  15. I like these combos and they might've been what I said when we first were throwing combos up a couple months ago but I can't remember. One of the biggest things I'm looking for is trying to put guys together that play at the same pace, feels like too often we have had a guy that just seems out of place on a line because he isn't as good of a skater and he opts to dump a puck and try to play along the boards when he had another forward with him looking to create with his speed.
  16. One of the biggest things I was looking at and it is something I don't think Berry looks at enough is trying to put guys together that play with the same pace/skating ability. Trying to get speed guys together and really push the pace.
  17. This past season? Dawson was at way more than 65K, he was at 300K. Despite never even entering the portal Garcia had a 700K offer from Gonzaga a couple weeks ago but opted to stay at Minnesota for a couple hundred thousand less.
  18. Morgan got 200K from Nebraska, Minnesota offered 100 for him.
  19. As of now I'd go Swanson-Berg-Perron James-Boisvert-McLaughlin Kunz-Wilkie-Strinden Schmaltz-Jamernik-Croal Livanavage-Zmolek Wiebe-Emery Strathmann-MacDonald Jubenvil Hedquist
