I agree with the Minnesota coaches on this. The only thing that should really matter is the letter of intent and that is the way it is in every other sport. Schools are already not following the "gentleman's agreement' anyway as can be seen by the number of BC recruits who had committed elsewhere first. Schools like Minnesota, BC, UND, and Michigan are gonna be able to get a kid to flip their commitment from a smaller school if they really want them so why wouldn't they be in favor of the only thing mattering being the letter of intent.

Subban gets his 2nd of the game on the powerplay to win it. PK and Price were at their best for the Habs tonight and they definitely needed them to be.
-
Carey Price has been fantastic tonight, Bruins could have easily got the winner at least a few times in that OT but Price came up huge. Big opportunity for Montreal with the powerplay to start the 2nd OT.
-
I was hoping they would bring up Meyer for the spot start in game 2 of the doubleheader today. If he keeps pitching as well as he has they can't keep him down too much longer. Correia and Pelfrey are the two that I am real sick of and think they should either trade them if they can get anything or just go ahead and release them otherwise.

Anyone catch the Bergeron hip check? I didn't think it was horrible but I didn't think Cooke's knee was real bad either. Lot of Montreal fans are pretty upset about Bergeron going after the knee and I can kind of see what they are saying and can see why they would think there was intent there but there is probably a little overreaction on the Montreal fans end although that definitely wouldn't be the first time for that.

Pretty sure all games are only televised via national tv from here on out so only NBC, CNBC, or NBCSN. I like Lapanta and the FSN guys but I believe the only way we will hear him the rest of the playoffs is from the pregame and postgame shows FSN will have prior to games.

Wow what a game, you could see Nino was really playing well the last couple games coming into tonight but he even took it a step further tonight. Couple very good chances before the winner from Parise and Granlund but I thought Stastny was gonna win it but luckily he shot it wide on his chance. Wonder if this game will bring up any bad memories for Roy?

Wow what resiliency from the Wild tonight. Great patience from Spurgeon on the tying goal to let Mackinnon slide by. Not very often will a team be headed to overtime with a goalie in the net that hasn't made a save. Pominville has to show up for the playoffs sometime for the Wild right? Maybe he can come through in OT because he has had a horrible series and him not getting the puck in deep led directly to the Avs 4th goal.
-
Wild and Avs 2-2 after 2, good break for the Wild on their 2nd goal with the puck finding Heatley's stick after deflecting off traffic and him finding the net. Good 2nd for the Wild as they hold the Avs to only 5 shots despite having to kill 2 penalties.
-
Yeo needs to keep Prosser on the bench he served as a perfect screen for the Avs on that one and didn't pick up anyone in coverage instead backing in on top of the goal. Don't know how the ref missed the easy goalie interference call and it looked like he was waving it off right away but changed his call. Reffing definitely doesn't look great again 1 pretty weak penalty call each way in the 1st.
-
Disagree with him being ready to go and don't know that he will ever play in the NHL. I like Rocco and realize he has great skill and I'm sure I'm in the minority on this but I actually don't think losing him would really affect the team too much and of the guys who thought about leaving if one had to go pro he would be the one I would pick just because I think the others are more integral to the team next season.
-
I'm going with the Wild, Kings, and Rangers although I would really like to see Philly and Pit go to battle again.
-
Can't remember exactly but just by the way he played overall as well as his skill with the puck and the way he could skate I definitely wouldn't be surprised if he pulled that move.
-
Is that he was listed at? Seemed smaller during the state tournament like maybe 5'9-5'10. Anyway I said smaller and 5'11 definitely wouldn't be tall. Thing that stood out with him was his skating ability and offensive skill, I really would have liked to see him land at UND
-
'97 D Ryan Zuhlsdorf of Edina commits to Minnesota, really liked what I saw from him during the state tournament, smaller D with good offensive skills and a great skater.
-
That is a real tough call, looked to me like Stalock had it and should of got a quicker whistle.
-
Did Frattin play at all for Columbus in their series? They seemed like a team that was a little short on skill and scoring and it would have seemed to make a lot of sense to have his speed and shot in the lineup. Gotta love Parise's mindset- Chad Graff @ChadGraff 10m Zach Parise put things in perspective: "We didn't sign here to win a first round game."
-
They are way better than their reds, the new white road unis are much improved this year as well.
-
Quick makeup call on the Sharks, you knew it would be coming.

Would you expect anything less from Roy than to have 2 of the biggest goons in the NHL Mcleod and Bordaleau go out for the that last shift and try to run anyone they could catch up to? Pretty good performance from the Wild aside from not starting to play the 2nd period until there were only 10 minutes left in the 2nd. I thought there was gonna be a bunch of controversy again after a missed hold and a missed trip that gave the Avs pretty good looks but Kuemper came up big and probably played his best game of the series. The big money duo of Parise and Suter came through big for the Wild tonight but 3 of the youngsters Granlund, Coyle, Haula, and El Nino were really good tonight too. Looking forward to game 7 and hoping Roy has some flashbacks from his playing days against the Wild.
-
Completely disagree I love the green unis.
-
Don't think there was any interest or room at UND for him.
-
Yeah I think most fans think a certain former Gopher that may be from a foreign country will probably be the one who ends up filling that open cap space left by Heatley. Glad they also get rid of Stoner too, if only they can find a way to get rid of Brodziak with those two they will be a lot better off getting rid of some pretty bad skaters who are very turnover prone.

Toews with the powerplay goal to give the Hawks a 2-1 lead early in the 3rd. Sharp finally gets involved and follows with a quick goal after blocking a shot 3-1 Hawks.
-
Oshie gets another goal to tie the Blues up with the Hawks 1-1 after 1.
