I really like Jake Jaremko too he is a smooth player and finishes well and has lit up the elite league pretty well so far. Actually I would love if any of those players on that list ended up playing for the Sioux.

In the herald chat last week Schlossman made it sound like they were looking at Loven, Poolman(now with the Force), Tweten, and Bowen and he wouldn't be surprised to see some commitments before Christmas although I'm not sure whether he meant that was to UND or even involving the EGF kids. Bowen was on the Fargo Force training camp roster but not sure if he plans to play USHL for a full year or maybe just before and after the high school season like Bethune from Warroad is.

Kevin Olsen I believe was even a top 10 QB out of high school and probably would have started at the beginning of this season for Miami if not for the incidents mentioned. They all seem to be alcohol related and I wonder with him withdrawing from school he might need to get some help and after that maybe head to a JUCO to try to reboot his career.

The question becomes does AP try to take a plea deal at the October date and try to get back on the field this year or does he continue to try to fight and go through the whole trial and miss the whole season while getting paid. I watched the Olbermann show yesterday for the first time yesterday and it will be the last time I do. Watching the segment on AP yesterday he definitely got what he wanted even though some of the things he said about the AP situation were not close to correct but overall why do people watch his show regularly? He definitely seems to think he is above everybody and seems to have no problem letting everybody know that. Watched the KHOU report on this one and there really doesn't seem to be anything to it. There were no charges and the story was the child cursed at his sibling AP was "whoopin" him the kid tried to move and hit his head on the car seat leaving the scar above his eye.

I know you have a personal issue with Minnesota and Coach Kill but he has done a great job turning that program back around and there is a reason he ended up 3rd when FBS coaches voted which coach they most would like their son to play for. As for the schedule they play it is similar to a lot of power 5 conference teams schedules they had Eastern Illinois who definitely was a cupcake, Middle Tennessee State a bowl team last year, TCU a Big 12 team coming of a bad year looking poised for a bounce back year, and San Jose State a .500 Mountain West team last year. Regarding your other post about taking a guy who doesn't have the grades, most of those guys have to go to JUCO in order to qualify.

You could tell Speilman was uncomfortable and struggled through with the whole thing, Zimmer made it pretty clear right away he wasn't talking about the AP situation and he only got a couple questions about it and just answered with Rick already addressed that.

Chris Cook isn't Adrian Peterson and like it or not when it comes to the NFL play value comes into account. Not 100% sure if that was Chris Cook's first incident or not but know it is AP's and that may factor in as well.

Also saw Vikings special teams coach Priefer will be back this week and they looked like they missed him as they had to call a timeout to get the right guys on the field for one punt return, only had 9 guys out there on another punt return, had a field goal blocked, and had some poor punt coverage yesterday too.

Anim is a real good slasher type and I know the Gophers and Wisconsin have both watched him a number of times but he is probably more of a down the road backup plan type for them and the Gophers are already full unless they have a transfer during the season. Anim has offers from Dayton and Northern Iowa already as well.
