I'd say Oshie is my favorite but Toews, Nelson, and plenty others are also in the mix.
-
Ever since the Wild came back they've been my NHL team but I do like the Blackhawks with Toews and the Blues with Oshie as long as they aren't playing the Wild.

I don't think Michigan is real great their offense isn't very good and turns it over too much but they have a pretty solid defense and were #8 in the country in rushing defense before Saturday but I also think Minnesota is better than a lot of people think. Minnesota has a good defense and good running game and that will at least keep you in a lot of games. They have a bye this week followed by Northwestern and Purdue at home and Illinois on the road so there is a good chance for them to be 7-1 when they host Iowa and battle for the pig.

Wouldn't mind seeing them go outside the organization for the next manager but I wouldn't be surprised if they go with Molitor, Steinbach, or Mientkiewicz either.

Real nice debut for Teddy and a win for the Vikes. Atlanta might have an offense that is right towards the top in the NFL but their defense is probably bottom 10. Hopefully Teddy can recover quickly from his sprained ankle and be ready for Green Bay Thursday because if Ponder has to start Thursday it could get ugly.

I could definitely see that 3rd pairing being kind of a rotation of Ausmus, Stecher, and Poolman.
-
If everybody dresses since it is an exhibition I could see something like this: O'Donnell-MacMillan-Parks Caggiula-N.Schmaltz-L.Johnson Pattyn-Gaarder-Olson Chyzk-St.Clair-Poganski Sanderson-Simonson-Murphy Thompson-J.Schmaltz Mattson-LaDue Ausmus-Stecher Poolman-Panzarella McIntryre C.Johnson Hrynkiw(Maybe gets in late in the 3rd)

So Charlie will now be getting paid by Notre Dame and Kansas not to coach.

Twins beat the Tigers again tonight 12-3 can the big trade deadline acquisition David Price come through for the Tigers tomorrow?
-
I would think he would come in next year.

They have been pretty good at basketball so you could be right on that but I would be a little surprised if it was that high I know they didn't make it last year. I was talking about football and the losing to FCS teams and those were the two that I thought of. -
Agreed Leidner really stepped up and came through for the Gophers today. Cobb just runs so hard and is one of the better backs in the conference and the Gophers defense looks to be one of the better defenses in the Big 10.

Illinois? Purdue? -
Brad E. Schlossman @SchlossmanGF · 11h Chris Wilkie, Jack Rowe and Christian Cakebread all with goals in USHL regular-season opener. Wilkie's a third period GWG. Brad E. Schlossman @SchlossmanGF · 10h Add Shane Gersich to that list - he scored for Omaha tonight, too.

I think you are pretty much alone on that feeling. Almost every Gopher fan I have talked to hates the BTHC and wishes they were still in the old WCHA. -
Saw the Twins offered Hughes a chance to pitch an inning out of the bullpen to get the out this weekend but he declined.

Texas Tech's were horrible you couldn't even really tell what the logo was during the game, I kinda like the OSU helmets.

No surprise Casey Mittelstadt commits to Minnesota.
-
Very well could be accurate though and I believe he was the first one to have Voltin off the commit list last year. I would not be surprised at all if Pelnik was no longer a commit.
-
I've mentioned Mittelstadt and have heard very good things about him and the way he has played in the elite league. He played bantams for Eden Prairie last year so this will be his first varsity season but based on how he has performed in elite league I would be surprised if he isn't receiving interest from a lot of top programs.

Definitely looks like it will be up to Bridgewater and the passing game to produce points for this offense as the running game has been virtually non-existent the last 2 games against a couple teams who weren't real great against the run in their previous games.

Horrible penalty call on Munnerlynn there and it is a gamechanger as the drive is extended and the Saints take advantage and score. Munnerlynn had Brees wrapped up and threw him to the ground if the ref doesn't want that to happen all he has to do is blow the whistle when Brees gets wrapped up otherwise it is a guessing game for the defense. Then they allow Brees to jump up in someones face and shove him but refs think that's okay because QBs are harmless.

I watched the Minnesota game and they had a redshirt freshman QB making his first start and they definitely tried to protect him from mistakes and he did run for 160 yards. He did have a couple nice throws that were dropped and one would have been about a 40 yard touchdown. They ran for 383 yards on SJSU and really didn't have many situations where they needed to throw the ball yesterday.

Jameis looked like "Oh you guys were actually serious about that suspension thing I thought you wanted to win"
