Well that is just inaccurate. Though I would love to hear your definition of a "major school". You're doing so well impressing people over on FU's board lately, let's see what you got.
-
You should know by now that Dan doesn't let facts get in the way when he thinks he has a good argument. Anything to change the subject away from more news about an FU player and their run in's with the law.
-
Not so much. The lowest rated game drew almost 4x the viewers this year and highest was over 7x the viewers.
-
I'd imagine they mainly pick up stuff that makes it on to the bigger sites (ESPN, FoxSports, etc), hence the reason the voter fraud gang is on there and not much else. Not sure how the site picked up the baseball player, (un)lucky guy. Both schools would be more than represented if all the MIC's showed up.

2-4. Sounds like how many of your players are in line to miss the opening game because of offseason activities. (Also could use 2-4 as the number of former FU players who currently have warrants outstanding for not completing community service)

You know why Bolh closed off FU's practice to the media? He was embarassed at all the parole officers that were required to be present.

Maybe there is something to the saying that simple minds are easily amused.

Would St. Cloud take offense to first half of that?
-
No. The inferiority complex won't allow it. Haven't figured that out yet?
-
Seems to be a common theme....

I assumed so. That mean he won't be playing at all this year? Is he working on getting them back up so he can join the team when eligible?

Robertson is not listed on the roster, but is listed under "WR Newcomers" and as a RFr in the class breakdown. Under Newcomers, it lists his number as 6, which is the same as Bartels. If Robertson is on the team and plays, not sure how those two could have the same number.

That was just the cherry on top. There was a fair amount of build-up before and after that.

The point was that the Dome has not always been full, despite what some short-memoried FU fans would like to claim. I guess I don't agree on football attendance continuing to grow if the team had been stuck in medicority or at least I don't think it would have grown anywhere close to rate it did. Tailgating and the games have become an event because the team has been very successful and the demand is very much a byproduct of that. But I do agree with your point that because of people investing both time and money into the program (tailgating, season tickets, etc) that attendance won't drop as much when NDSU isn't at a peak.

UND doesn't fill their building because of elitist attitudes. NDSU didn't fill their's because it's a large building. Sound logic. Or was it at the time NDSU's fan base wasn't as big because they weren't winning as much so people didn't bother showing up? Siouxperfan7 hit the nail on the head.
-
Why couldn't NDSU fill up the Fargodome until the last few years?
-
Why don't you e-mail someone in the athletic department or ticket sales and ask?
-
I believe he was taking online classes back home this summer. I would assume that means he plans on coming back. Hopefully he does and is ready to go.
-
He was on the Spring Football Prospectus and I am pretty sure I saw him play in the spring game. Not sure on much else though.
-
I know you're young, but wow do you have a short memory. UND has had a waiting list for hockey tickets for years, when the FU barn wasn't even close to full. And 12K to a playoff game just 3 years ago...

Behind the baskets is where most colleges place their student section. As for the bleachers, until they put permanent seating in (not any time soon), those bleachers are about as good as it will get. And until students start showing in force up for more than 1 game every other year, then it may be time to talk about some changes. Hopefully with the potential this team has, student support will improve.
-
Was it 57 tickets or 57 orders?

OSU suspends starting running back 3 games despite assault charges being dropped Meyer says it was for "conduct not representative" of Ohio State.
-
If that is the case, maybe NDSU should start putting ads for the SHAC in the "Courts" section of the Forum. They might finally get the donations to finish it while people are looking up what their favorite player has been up to.

I'm sure you'll be the first to report it with the interest and knowledge you have in UND athletics.
