Luke has done a tremendous job on the recruiting side in Illinois. Bartels, Kuska, and Golladay have already shown they can contribute now. Reyes, Palandech, Sharp, Cheatom and Norberg look like they have some very good potential as well.

A one year anomaly on numbers that mean nothing when just looking at the bottom line with no context. Was there any one-time large expenses last year like, oh maybe new turf or something that could have possibly skewed that number?

I'd say the switches to the O-line helped out too, seemed liked there was a little more time in the pocket, though there was still too much pressure. I don't think either guy has come close to separating himself.

Yoru post didn't say that someone else saw them, it was inferring that you saw them out. Regardless, you post about them being at the bar and make it sound like a bad thing and then a few weeks later post that they aren't ever at the bar and make that seem like a bad thing. Not that it really matters whether the coaching staff goes out and has a drink or two, but just wanted to make sure people knew how seriously to take your posts.

Just curious, is it possible we have offered Wilkie and it just hasn't been reported? I'm guessing there are quite a few offers out there we don't know about. I don't think anyone knew about Ferguson until his verbal was reported.

I'd feel comfortable presuming the guy who is driving around in my stolen vehicle and offering me other items that he is saying aren't his but I can have them to leave him alone pretty guilty without going through the court system. More than happy to let him determine what his punishment is, but if I feel safe and have the chance, I'm not going to let him run away. That being said, beating a guy with a lead pipe may have taken it a little far but I'm not so certain the guy should be charged with a felony for it.

A lot of that had to do with being in the same conference which prevented first round match-ups. The NCCA will be more than happy to ship UND to St. Paul (where ticket prices happen to be the highest) for a first or second round match-up with UofM every chance they get. Having two fanbases that large with not far to travel is about the only chance they have at having a more than half full building at any of their regional sites.

I see UND continuing to make the NCAA tournament, are you saying that the gophers won't be there?

You're right. Our programs would be light years ahead of where they are now playing at Memorial Stadium, the Hyslop and the old REA.
