Had concussion issues at LaSalle and went to UW-GB to be closer to home. Originally from Minnetonka, not a lot of D-1 options to choose from close to home. There were some serious coach issues at UW-GB, 5 players left the team between January and May this year. Maybe more to it and it does seem to raise some flags, but there is nothing that shows he was a problem player. Hopefully he is eligible this year and UND can add another shooter to the mix.

I assume that Hooker is still redshirting this year even though it doesn't indicate that?
-
Consistently inconsistent. I do agree since the coach kept his job it doesn't help the matters. That is assuming that he is even applying for a waiver, though I can't imagine he wouldn't. Wonder how/what the current scholarship make-up of the team is.
-
Not likely since the 2nd year he's sitting out won't be a medical issue. To get the 6th year of eligibility (which can be denied), typically 2 seasons need to be lost to injury. His hope might be that they give him a waiver this year due to the coaching mess that was going on at Wis-GB but I wouldn't count on that either.

Wasn't that one tipped and scraped the crossbar? Maybe Muss didn't trust his defense with 47 seconds left this time around.

Other than the audible on 3 and 1, which Hanson called at the line if I remember correctly, what am I missing?

You're putting a lot of faith on a 53 yard field goal. Zeb is good but I'm not marking that one down in the automatic category.

Wow. UND Basketball and Tom Miller tweet confirms it. He also said it was a long-rumored addition, which is a little strange since I had not seen anything prior to this? Played one season at LaSalle and left to Wis-GB for health reasons (concussions). Was one of 5 players to leave W-GB this season between February and May (coach issues). Was class of 2010, assume he sat out a year after transferring to W-GB. Could be wrong, but does he sit out this year and only have one year of eligibility left? Out of HS he had offers from Auburn, Drake, Illinois St, W-Milwaukee, Nevada, UNI, Tulsa, USC and Utah St per his Yahoo page.

He does have a mustache. We've had good luck with those in the past.

Not a real big fan of contributing either but while that seat may be sold for this year, what are the odds that it will be sold for next year? And I can't remember how attendance is counted at the Alerus - butts in seat or tickets sold so not sure how attendance reported is handled.

As someone already said, just because the MCFV offenses don't score against the MVFC defenses doesn't mean the defenses are better all-around. Looking at the OOC games this year, the MVFC defenses have shown nothing that indicates they are better than any other conference as a whole (outside of NDSU's).

Even so, still doesn't answer the question of who the mystery 16th player in the picture is. Everyone else on the roster is accounted for.
-
16 guys in the picture and only 15 on the roster. The guy on the far left is the one I'm not sure who he is. ??, Brekke, Blake, Webb, Schuler, Anderson, Huff, Hobaugh, Antwi, Traylor, Benton, Hooker, Nash, Salmonson, Tyler, Calcaterra

My guess is yes. He will have to sit out this year and should have two years remaining as I don't believe he redshirted at UMKC. Not sure if him and Hooker will be competing for PG minutes next year or both will be on the court at the same time. Jones has shown the ability to have multiple ball handlers on the floor at the same time so don't think it will be too big of an issue.
-
At this point, I'm not sure what the hesitation is on playing younger guys across the board unless they aren't capable. And if that is the case, it goes back to the recruiting/coaching. That doens't mean lifting any redshirts, no reason to waste half of a season at this point.

Hammer is a Midco employee and Midco has a 5 year contract for UND athletics. Not sure if you're referring to something like what happened with Ralston, but they aren't the same situation.

Sioux Falls will always be the biggest black eye.
-
JohnboyND7 said the State of ND didn't think it was that big of deal. I beg to differ with his assessment considering it spurred them to change the law.
-
So it is just a coincidence that law was changed because of how big of a joke it was?
-
Quite certain you are the one that needs to step back from the ledge. You've said multiple times the last few weeks that we need to fire the coach. If things don't turn around, the situation will be evaluated after the season.
-
Yep. And going dancing would be the cherry on top of the work and dedication those guys have put into the program. Going to be an exciting season.
-
You want reality? I don't know who will be coach when they are seniors but I know who will be coach the rest of the year. That is reality. Mussman doesn't get a free pass, but he will get the rest of the year to prove whether he can handle the job or not and how the team performs tomorrow will go a long way in showing that or not. I'm pointing out how dumb something like this is to discuss going into the 4th game of the season. Shows the support the team has when fans are already deciding who the next head coach will be before conference play even starts, no need to finish out the season. Are you going to make it to the end of the 3rd quarter tomorrow or head out early again?
-
Running/fleeing while already in handcuffs has proven again and again to be a winning strategy.
-
This is just as bad as the other thread. We are 3 games into the season and Mussman isn't going anywhere for at least the next few months if at all. I wasn't happy with the UM game or some of the results last year but wow, talk about folding the tent and throwing in the towel on the players and the team.

No. This will not end well.
