  1. Bjorklund got in trouble trying to draw charges the last few games. I can see us getting to the rim and putting pressure on him. Be interesting if Nash posts him up and uses his athleticism, though not sure how much of a post game Nash has. Wouldn't mind seeing a little full court pressure as well, NDSU has shown they struggle some against that.
  2. What's the tail number of your private ride, should be real easy to prove your story.
  3. There was one flight from GFK to FAR this morning and then the plane went to Watertown. If that happened to be your flight, it landed in Fargo at 9:44 a.m. Four hour drive from Fargo to Dickinson would get you there at 2 central, 1 mountain, yet your claiming to be at work by 11 am central. No flights from GFK or FAR to the western part of the state this morning. Looking forward to your explanation.
  4. Going to be a great atmosphere tonight. Should be a good game. Pretty simple game plan for UND, contain Bjorklund. He's been in some foul trouble this year as well, attack him early and see if you can't get one or two quick ones on him. Huff won't go huge, will be using a little more energy chasing around Braun, but will get his. Hooker will show NDSU what they missed out on. Nash with a couple plays that blow the roof off the building. Will be interesting to see if Stefan gets into the rotation. If him or Schuler get going, look out.
  5. Big talk from a guy who was just complaining less than two months ago...
  6. I'd like to amend this to preseason and end of season #2 team since Bison06 had issues with me using preseason rankings.
  7. It is all speculation and someone who looks like a winner could end up not being able to get the job done. Craig Bohl wasn't NDSU's first choice, they offered the job to Terry Allen. Allen turned it down and is hanging onto his job by a thread with his career record of 33-56 at Missouri State and being retained partially due to financial reasons.
  8. But Saul said to write it down, NDSU is a tournament team. No highlighted sheets or anything like that yet, but still.
  9. Does it make it better if I say currently playing for 2nd place going into the last weekend of the season?
  10. UND has played a whopping 1 game against the MVFC in the last 5 years. They lost to the preseason 2nd place team by a whole 7 points in one of their worst seasons ever and put more yards on them than anyone in the MVFC did and more points than all but 1 team (not counting UNI's 2OT points).
  11. I guess its a good thing they don't play until next year. Excited to see another vaunted MVFC defense (outside of NDSU's) lock down an OOC opponent.
  12. Yeah but it left 19 minutes late. Way to go Delta.
  13. No way to know (I'd say yes), but their only common opponent was SDSU. SDSU beat Indiana State 29-0 and UND 35-28.
  14. I am not concerned about the new head coaching salary, Faison will pay what he needs to go get the right guy here. What I am wondering about is improving the salary pool for assistant coaches. I'm sure that a new head coach will negotiate that as well, but it is something that definitely needs to be addressed.
  15. NDSU may not allow Wisconsin to the century mark, but they wouldn't sniff anywhere near 85 points either. The reason Wisconsin was getting good looks pretty much boiled down to their center having a career game. UND had a tough time because their 7 footer kept popping out to the three point line and proceeded to go 6-6. Do you know what that does to a defense when you are already playing with a smaller line-up? Bjorklund won't move out past 12 feet from the basket, it isn't his game and that will be a significant difference. And I think you're overstating how many shot UND forced. Their were a few, but they are an aggressive team. I was actually surprised Wisconsin didn't have more fouls called on them, but non-conference game at a B1G school, you aren't going to get the benefit of the doubt. I can see NDSU getting into some foul trouble on Sunday. If UND can contain Bjorklund, I think they win. As for dictating the tempo, I haven't seen much of that from NDSU this year compared to last year though part of that could be the new foul rules.
  16. Luke seemed to be a pretty good recruiter in Illinois. Not sure where he would fit in on a new staff though. Agree on what you mentioned as well.
  17. Pretty good sight seeing that from the tower.
  18. Overall, Wisconsin is a better defensive team than NDSU though they seemed to be content running with UND, which isn't how they normally play. If NDSU chooses to do that, they won't win (takes Bjorklund out of the game). If they can turn it into more of a half court game, it plays into their favor. Doesn't Saul model his team after Bo Ryan's? Probably helps UND some coming off that game.

    Boston!

I doubt if they are short forwards, Rodwell is being benched, especially announcing it this early in the week. Panzarella playing at forward seems very odd to me.
  20. I'll sum it up for you...
  21. How quick is Brown? I'm not sure that they stick Braun on Huff either, maybe rotate but I don't think they will the whole game. Wouldn't be surprised to see UND go Nash/Huff/Anderson and two of Webb/Schuler/Hooker, especially if Bjorklund is out of the game.
  22. Not a rumor. Multiple Allegiant flights every week.
  23. Watched part of it over lunch. Watching Kaminski light it up from deep is still mind boggling the second time around.
  24. Huff was out and Brekke took an elbow from Bjorklund (unintentional) 3 minutes into the game that has him where he is today. No Huff to guard Braun made for a completely different game than the year before.
  25. I wonder how many inaccuracies one person can have in a single post?
