Somewhat agree but if Bohl is saying no comment instead of denying it when directly asked is pretty telling.
-
Hopefully GT hasn't already commissioned that statue of Bohl yet. Yikes. I guess all that talk of B1G or Big 12 jobs being the only way he'd leave were a little overstated. I'm surprised myself.

Vernon Adams did manage 9.9/yards per attempt and threw 5 TD passes. Not bad considering he completed 12 passes.

500+ total yards of offense with almost 300 yards of rushing at 6.7 yards/rush for EWU. Zenner held to 71 yards on 21 carries though Sumner threw for over 300. Nice 2nd half performance by NDSU, Furman looked legit the first half. Downhill from there for them. No clue what happened with Montana today. EIU makes a statement.

You were pretty quiet for a quarter and a half...

Current lines for today's games: Fordham (+12.5) at Towson Tennessee St (+22.5) at EIU New Hampshire (+3) at Maine Coastal Carolina (+10) at Montana Furman (+28.5) at NDSU SDSU (+6.5) at EWU Jacksonville State (+7) at McNeese St SHSU (+8) at SELO

Yep, just like the Big Sky....

By that logic, I guess the Great West should have had a handful of teams in the playoffs two years ago... 13 MISSOURI VALLEY (AA)= 58.43 58.80 ( 12) 9 58.61 ( 12) 14 GREAT WEST (AA)= 57.83 57.65 ( 14) 5 57.66 ( 14) 15 COLONIAL (AA)= 54.89 54.25 ( 16) 11 54.32 ( 16) 16 BIG SKY (AA)= 54.75 54.40 ( 15) 9 54.53 ( 15) 17 SOUTHERN (AA)= 54.72 54.00 ( 17) 9 54.28 ( 17) 18 SOUTHLAND (AA)= 47.60 48.05 ( 18) 8 47.71 ( 18) 19 PATRIOT LEAGUE (AA)= 46.99 46.96 ( 19) 7 46.99 ( 19) 20 OHIO VALLEY (AA)= 45.46 44.62 ( 20) 9 44.73 ( 20) 21 I-AA INDEPENDENTS (AA)= 43.65 43.46 ( 21) 4 43.47 ( 21) 22 IVY LEAGUE (AA)= 42.93 43.04 ( 22) 8 42.97 ( 22) 23 BIG SOUTH (AA)= 41.01 41.19 ( 23) 7 41.12 ( 23) 24 MID-EASTERN (AA)= 38.81 38.44 ( 24) 11 38.55 ( 24) 25 NORTHEAST (AA)= 36.50 37.15 ( 25) 9 37.05 ( 25) 26 PIONEER (AA)= 34.37 33.97 ( 26) 10 34.13 ( 26) 27 SOUTHWESTERN (AA)= 30.78 30.65 ( 27) 10 30.67 ( 27) Your answer still doesn't explain why a team that played SDSU much closer should have been left out while a team who was out of the game before halftime the week before against SDSU deserved to be in instead. Other than riding NDSU's coattails I guess?

Don't see Marshall getting the job. Even MSU fans seem to be lukewarm on him.
-
GT is still at NDSU, the only common denominator remaining. Don't count on it. Not meant as smack but I have a hard time seeing him signing a home and home.
-
The game is on CBS Sports Network with gametime at 6:35 CST.

In the Herald article, it made it seem like Hardee was surprised when told there was an issue with his license. I have a hard to believing he was knowingly driving around without a license for that long. That being said, I would have a hard time believing that he would do what has come out so far and there was zero chance of him being retained.
-
Just curious why they wouldn't be able to do that while staying in the Southland? I was quite surprised to see them come back to the summit and it is a good thing for the conference, shores up their problems. I do find it amusing that the FU faithful are gloating that the ORU coming back proves that Douple had a plan for the Summit all along.
-
Wouldn't rule this out, though I'm curious with the announced defections (with more possible?) if the issue was a playing time one or something else. From what was announced so far, I'm leaning towards the former. Its seems who the coach thought was better was the one who played regardless of age. Tough to argue with the results, but who knows what actually happened.

Not quite sure I get your stepping stone comment? He only has two years of eligibility left, Mankato will be his last stop. In regards to distance from home, Mankato is 220 miles and roughly 3 hours closer than Grand Forks is from Brooklyn Park. Not a huge distance but plausible enough to use as one of his reasons.

Per Wayne Nelson, as of yesterday the application list was up to 53. Two new notable applicants: -Iowa St. asst. HC Bill Bleil -Miami of Ohio interim coach Mike Bath
-
Your threshold for miracles is pretty low then.

NDSU has similar issues that didn't make it to the media as well as ones that did. Why some and not others? Guess the hometown papers miss some things. Right, wrong or indifferent, every problem doesn't get covered.

Explain to me how Faison was involved? He was in meetings when the package showed up, someone else opened it and tweeted a picture. When he found out about it, he called Taylor and told him about it. As for the second part, not sure where to start, but making completely false comments about the hockey team being related to a murder seem to indicate you have issues of some sort.
-
Well, comments like this are pretty interesting: Not all incidents have been reported in the press at NDSU, so not sure what your point on that is. And Faison had zero to do with the banner thing and I'd like for you to point out a single time he has called a press conference to poke fun at NDSU?
-
I think the same could be said about you. I don't think I've seen a single person say that Hardee should have kept his job or got his day in court.
-
Not what I was referring to. People make mistakes, the media doesn't report all of them, likely because they don't catch everything. Happens in Grand Forks, happens in Fargo, happens everywhere. If it was put in there that he was verbally reprimanded, then it is there. Conversations like that are usually documented for review and future reference.

Your input and clarification is appreciated.

This spring. All rental company's disclose that they reserve the right to check your driver's license history when you sign the rental agreement. They have access to a database with traffic violations in them. Whether they run it or not every time is up to them. There was something put in his file, so I guess there is that, so I'm not sure in the grand scheme of things if there is a huge difference. And I can guarantee you that every incident in Fargo has not made the media. A simple records search can verify that.
-
Huh? A coach gets a DUI, is reprimanded and told if he has another screw up and he's gone. Coach screws up, put on leave for 3 days before he resigns (which likely came before he was going to be fired). Just curious how you think it should have been handled differently? The only thing I'm not sure on is the driver's license issue, but I don't have enough details to understand what is going on with that. If a rental company gave him keys to a vehicle, obviously they were under the assumption he had a valid license as well and they usually are pretty thorough on checking that.
