  1. I'm hoping he does, his recruiting connections in Illinois have been very good.
  2. Paul Rudolph was named OC on Thursday.
  3. From what I have heard, there was virtually no chance of Dale applying, open record laws or not.
  4. Benton isn't in the game for what he brings to the table on offense.
  5. Divulging what information? That a head coach who had already lost his two coordinators tried to offer the heir apparent to the DC job more money and a better title? Real great detective work there Sherlock. Has Bubba decided on an OC yet or haven't your sources got back to you on that one?
  6. My hope is that Bubba and company will be recruiting a slightly different footprint with ND/Minn/Wisc while keeping a presence in Illinois. SIU's roster consists of 0/1/3 players respectively from those first three states.
  7. I'm guessing Dale is offering him quite a bit to keep him on board.
  8. Winter break and frigid weather doesn't help matters either.
  9. The NCAA will force them to play in the playoffs before GT ever signs a home/home contract on the dotted line.
  10. I don't disagree with some of what you said, but my point was that you seem to be more incredibly more focused on the part of the equation that involves NDSU failing and not the part that is UND succeeding. UND can and will rebuild in to a very good team regardless of what happens in Fargo.
  11. Where was/when was this said? Any links?
  12. Looks like DJ Davis committed to UNC. Wiki says he was a player of interest for UND and UNC was his only offer.
  13. I know you live in Fargo and have to deal with the FU faithful more than most, but you seemed more concerned about them failing then UND rebuilding.
  14. You hear that Tim Gordon? Playing time from day 1.
  15. Kind of what I though as well, but you'd think they'd at least still put a guy or two down low to at least give some token pressure on the rebound. Don't remember seeing a team do that consistently throughout a game.
  16. Some quick thoughts on the game last night: -Was nice to see Jones yank a couple players out of the line-up immediately after a dumb play regardless of who they were (Huff twice and Hooker once among a few others). After the UNC game, someone said that they thought Coach Ahelegbe was in charge of subsitutions. I watched last night and he may be in charge of some rotational stuff, but it was Jones who immediately looked down the bench to put someone in multiple times. -Nash was more athletic than anyone they had, needs to drive instead of taking outside shots -Defense showed flashes and then looked terrible next time down the court -Same with the zone offense -The drive and dish by Huff at the end of the game has been being set up for 3 1/2 years now, was a great play -Can't believe Webb hit that shot at the end with the shot clock running down Haven't seen any of SUU's other games this year, but they looked better than an 0-8 team. Somewhat concerning because it seems we played down to their level. Having a hard time comprehending how UND can play at a high level against teams like Wisconsin and NDSU, with good ball movement and using their athleticism, and then look like that against a team they should run out of the gym. That being said, very much needed win. Anyone have any idea why when SUU shoots free throws, they had 4 guys back, leaving only the shooter to get the rebound against 4 UND guy, basically conceding any rebound on a miss?
  17. Hopefully the boys can get some kinks straightened out tonight and get something rolling now that the calendar has flipped. Looking at SUU's schedule, they are 0-8 against D-1 teams with their closest game being 15 points. Though at this point, they could look at our schedule and it doesn't look that much better.
  18. Good to hear. Was starting to get a little concerned. Get him and Bubba out to do whatever recruiting they can, just over a month until signing day and still some gems out there.
  19. Considering it is a publicly owned facility paid for with taxpayer dollars, as is the Alerus, I would have to agree.
  20. Getting the feeling that Carr is going to stick around. Has the potential to be an absolute beast in the return game and in the slot.
  21. I agree, it was mostly in jest though watching sometimes last year I wasn't sure if they were a secondary or an end zone escort service. Brown was our best corner but I don't think he ever came close to being as good as his potential, though a part of that was due to injuries. Mackey was boom or bust, his antics just drew more attention to him than he probably should have brought on himself. There is a lot of uncertainty in a position group that was questionable to begin with.
  22. Did they have any corners?
  23. Do you have any actual statistics to back that up or is that just an opinion?
  24. Along with Sioux Football Insider guys speculating on it as well. They've been right alot more than they've been wrong.
  25. You good ole boy network letting you down?
