Pettigrew got away with a hands to the face trying to create separation from Hitchens but not much talk about that. Surprised they picked it up after they threw it but I've definitely seen a lot worse not get called. Not a Dallas fan by any means but I am getting a kick out of the hand wringing by Cowboy haters and conspiracy theorists alike. Not to mention that sweet 10 yard punt that followed....

Is anyone sure it was the staff's decision to pull his redshirt?

35-29 at half after Montana hits a 3 with 6 seconds left. Turnovers are 9 for each team. Montana shooting 52%. UND's given up 3 offensive boards. 8-13 from the line.
-
UND cuts it to 3 with 3 minutes left in the half.
-
I know people have their issues with Kelley but agree 100% with this.
-
Clutch free throw shooting by Szabla down the stretch. Did a good job of keeping their composure when Montana came back and took the lead. Very good sweep of the Montana teams.

UND wins 82-74. Big win to start conference play.
-
77-69 UND with 1:18 left.
-
That was the definition of an ugly win. Glad to see them start off conference play on the right foot and on the road to boot.
-
Shanks looks to have more inside game then originally thought. Free throw shooting at over 80%.
-
Nice defense! Cause a 5 second violation. Huge turnover for MSU.

Really starting to question some of these fouls. UND in serious foul trouble with a lot of basketball left to play.
-
Said UND was a better team with him off the floor, he is a selfish player especially for a 6th year guy and makes the offense stagnant. They were off the radio but they aren't cutting their audio on the webcast.
-
Yikes. Taking some shots at Nash.....
-
Getting in foul trouble. Not good. Announcers aren't aware their mics are live in the webcast. Could be interesting.

Wish Ralston wasn't a couple minutes ahead of the webcast. Sounds like the team didn't get into their hotel until after 10 last night and didn't get a shoot around this morning because of the early game. Did their filmwork at one of the gates at the Denver airport. Slow start but cut down the turnovers and they'll be fine in the second half. Rebounding has been a little better but that last shot MSU made can't happen.

I'm not sure what your argument here is. You say that losing OOC games gives the fans zero confidence and then use SUU, a conference game, and Omaha, the last game of the year when they were pulling fans out of the stands to fill out the roster, as 2 of your 3 examples. OOC play is over (minus a late game against Omaha). More or less disappointing again. A decent win against Drake, blew a game at SDSU, got blown out at NDSU and lost to a couple P5 schools in a variety of ways. Doesn't matter anymore. Time to step up and prove the predictions wrong. Make the conference tournament and then see where it goes from there.

I thought it was only the conference championship game that mattered.

Games at 2pm. Perfect for spending the afternoon on the couch and watching the game courtesy of Big Sky TV.

Considered a "head-count" sport, so anyone on scholarship counts as one, whether its full or not. 13 allowed for men.
-
Would be pretty dumb of them since I believe UND signed a 3-1 deal to get them to come here and I think UND has at least 1 if not 2 return trips left to make to fulfill the deal.

I originally misunderstood it. It wasn't Bradley, it was Todd Wash, Jacksonville's Defensive Line coach and former NDSU assistant coach. I also saw that a poster that is normally pretty reputable on NDSU stuff had a comment that this is by no means the first time its happened.
-
This is what I assumed. Figured you were one of the people who'd be able to shed a little light on it. Weird how the NDSU faithful have no problem inserting their opinions everywhere else on this board but yet not a peep on explaining this...
-
Winning anywhere isn't a sure thing, that doesn't mean the games are aren't winnable (which is what you claim). Not sure what winning OOC road games (which Jones' teams have struggled with) has to do with winning road conference games (which Jones' teams have done at a 50% clip the last two years, a rate that only two other teams in the conference have topped in that time span).

I guess everyone sees what they want. I think Miller is very consistent about pointing about the good along with the bad in his articles. He's had more than a few that carried sharp criticism. I don't think that pointing out positives and improvements is sugarcoating, but to each his own. There were significant improvements in the Marquette game, particularly coming off the heels of the Minnesota and NDSU games. If you can't see that, its because you don't want to. Don't get me wrong, this team still has a long way to go and need to play better than they did against Marquette and play a full game instead of 30 minutes. But it looked to be a step in the right direction. Time will tell. Not sure what you're talking about. I'm quite certain every road conference game UND will play this year is winnable. The same UND team that has one of the top road records in the Big Sky since it joined two years ago? Pretty sure they are .500 on the road in that time span. I'd be more than thrilled if they accomplish that again this year.
