  1. Sioux lost 6-4 and 12-4 today @ St. Louis.
  2. Did he play at UND? Sorry, don't remember.
  3. This wasn't just So. Utah's first Big Sky win of the year, it was their first Division I win of the year. Embarrassing. BTW, I haven't seen Benton play for quite a while. Is he off the team or is he injured?
  4. I'm with you. They've had a lot of close losses this season and I keep thinking they're going to take their frustration out on somebody. Just hope it's not tonight. We'd better be ready.
  5. Looks like a playmaking corner that knows how to cover (and tackle). Hope it translate well to the BSC.
  6. A lot of basketball to be played yet this season, but, looking forward to next season, we have a load of talent coming back, plus, I believe, the possibility of Lauck getting a medical redshirt (correct me if I'm wrong). And that doesn't account for any recruits that will be coming in. The loss of Buck is pretty big, but if the ladies work hard over the offseason and maintain their hunger, next season could result in a repeat.
  7. Wonder if they've had injury problems or if they've just really cooled off.
  8. How true.
  9. And Fazoli's.
  10. I agree. Whenever there's talk about the competition at QB, it always centers around Bartels and Molberg and probably rightfully so. However, I agree that Palendech could be the darkhorse in this whole thing and win the job from out of nowhere. It will be interesting to see what he can do. As you point out, he has a lot of the tools with respect to size and speed; don't think I've ever heard anyone say anything about his throwing ability, though. The more competition the better, as it makes everyone better. I think the QB position will be a lot better this season.
  11. Thanks so much for all that you and Hambone do. I'm afraid that people like myself enjoy the fruits of your labor without taking the time to express our appreciation for it.
  12. I agree. He appears to be tough to take down, seems to read his blocks well, and has above average speed for his size. Plus, he seems to have pretty good hands, and he has the physique to take the punishment of 20-25 carries per game.
  13. Well said.
  14. I agree. Kid looks like he could be a freight train by the time he's a sophomore or junior. Looks like a great get.
  15. Boy, does that kid know how to hit!
  16. Love it.
  17. Thanks. Hope your wife is doing better.
  18. No need to put people down to promote your point of view.
  19. That would be a breath of fresh air.
  20. Really too bad. Thanks.
  21. That puts some good perspective on how long the turnaround process MIGHT take. IF next year is Bubba's first big recruiting class, it would be Bubba Year 4 by the time they're sophomores (assuming they redshirt) and ready to make some kind of an impact. Building, and doing it the right way, takes time. Naturally, we're all hoping for sooner and there are a number of things that could contribute to that, i.e, dropdowns, a few good JuCo.'s and the impact of existing players being coached up. My guess is that we'll be in position to challenge for the playoffs by year 3 or 4. BTW, I think I read that we lost Adams. Was that due to his injury being career-ending or is he transferring?
  22. 5-0. 83-72 Sioux. Final
  23. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date on the recruiting front, Hambone!
  24. Happy New Year to all. Hope the Sioux Men's hockey and BB and Sioux Women's BB get us off to a great start in 2014. Go, Bubba! Hit the recruiting trail hard!!!
