If UND wins their next 2 games and loses at SUU and the regular season ends and we are tied for first how does the tiebreaker work to determine who hosts the tournament?

Anybody have any thoughts on that situation?

That is interesting. You might of thought he would of got him in some capacity. I suppose he might not of wanted to got to Southern Illinois.

I might be wrong but wasn't Schleusner's main recruiting area Illinois. He did bring in some good recruits. Golloday and Kuksa being 2 of them. I think a lot of the other potentially good recruits are freshmen or redshirts. What does anyone else know about his recruiting?

I haven't heard anyone complaining about the Big Sky. There are lot of terrific locations. You get to see the whole western half of the country. Basketball also plays a lot of Saturday afternoon and evening games. Every game in the Big Sky offers television or video broadcast. There is even video on demand. I believe UND is loving it. Bubba said being in the Big Sky was a huge recruiting plus. The Big Sky is nothing but a positive.

We have a recruit named Lyons who is a gray shirt. How old is he and did he have any offers? What is the story there?

Thanks for the update. So the FBS offers were to Simmons, Walker, Greeley,Taylor, Carter and Studsrud. So we had 6 0ffers and 2 PWO offers to FBS schools . 8 kids in total.. Impressive. Keep adding to it if you find more.

From what I see we had 5 recruits that had offers from FBS schools. (Simmons, Walker, Taylor, Greeley, and Carter) We had 3 other recruits that had PWO offers from FBS schools. That is a total 8 kids. If anyone sees any more let us know. Impressive. In fact that is more than impressive. Way to go. Fantastic considering the late start.

If I were to guess that means that he had grown to like one coaching staff (and maybe feels a little obligation to that staff) but now feels like the other school or football program is the place to be and he is having a hard time letting that staff know what is going on. I wonder which school UND is in that scenario. Since it sounded initially like he might of been interested in UND, and now he is having other thoughts, it makes me feel like he wants to go to UNI now. Just an opinion.

What is it with all the Bison fans on here trying to protect NDSU? You would think they would be on BV talking about their recruiting.

The fact that we even have a chance to steal a player that has already committed to NDSU says a lot about our new coaching staff. Can't wait for next season.

If we could land Carter, I think it would be huge.

I see where Harmston was offered by SDSU too. Good to see us get one away from MVFC. All things considered, I think were off to a good start in recruiting. Go UND.

Maybe I am an optimist. I think the biggest problem with our freshman quarterbacks last year was there was no protection in front of them.

Are these boards different than the video boards we have now? Do we still use the present video boards and these are in addition?

So with Kostich, how many coaches do we still have to hire?

It seems to be an ongoing pattern of the rest of the country mixing the 2 schools up. It does reveal one thing though. Because of UND's long and storied history of Division 1 hockey (whether you like it or not), the country still thinks there is just one school in North Dakota and that school is UND.

What is the fascination with Bison fans always posting on UND threads?

It is almost hard to believe the NDSU President made such condescending remarks. Their day will come . Very classy though.

I don't think I have heard any body even mention Hedberg's name when it came talking about candidates to fill out our staff. I am not sure what that means. Dale might be scrambling at SIU.
