I really think that having lost in Bemidji 1-0 will motivate this team this week. They are a different team now then they were back then, they had 2 weeks to have the Minnesota sweep knaw on them, they needed to get thier lines in order after losing gremaldi. They were trying to figure out who they were. Now fast forward to this weeks games. They have thier lineups pretty solid, have a goalie rotation going well and the team seems to have bought into the Hak way of playing. I do believe that we will see some players flying around with a purpose.

For the most part you are right, but the one area that you are wrong is that the 1 seed plays the lowest seed, so if the 6 seed happens to win they would play the 1 seed and then the 2 seed gets the winner of the 4/5 game.

The way I look at this, either team that we play is much different than when we played them last. Wisc. looked good last night, they took the leader to the woodshed. Now lets see how they play again tonight. Bemidji will have a tough time sweeping, but it would not suprise me. For everyone wishing for bemidji, remember that they were at the final five last year after a first round upset. This is going to be a fun 3-4 game stretch.

As far as the PK goes, Friday night the NBC crew couldn't stop talking about the way they were pressuring the puck during the pk. I know we had a bad game yesterday as far as the pk goes. In the last 3 weeks I have seen that the friday night pk is good and the sat night not so much. I think that coaches need to press the point that those stupid penalties need to stop. There is a difference in the major we took friday(which at the most should have been a 2) and the major we took last night to end the game. Last nights major was pure stupidity. Killed any chance for a comeback.

I really hope Dickins injury isn't serious, not looking good that we will have 18 going tomm.

Yes, you are correct, gophers are in hd on 623 and UND on 639. Both channels are FSN North channels and 639 is called fsn+. What I was saying is gophers are in hd also. But what I was really saying inside is UND in hd, CAN"T WAIT

It is listed on FSN + if you have that channel. Here in Bismarck that is either 329 or 639 and it is the full game. PLUS you wanna talk about old time hockey, they are predicting a winter storm here so what could be any better than hunkering down at home and watching hockey while it snows/

I concur with what you state hayduke. I would really like for there to be a push to get them into our conference in 2 years. They are a team that would be good for the league to balance out the geographics. Lets get them and Northern Michigan. Just a thought.

Not that it matters BUT IT DOES, whoever lists the standing in the WCHA on this site needs to switch the order that UND is listed. UND because of tie breakers is on 4th not 6th.

My Programming on Midco says they are going to be carrying the sat game on FSN +, I suspect we will see something about this on here later in the week. I also saw that it is going to be on direct and dish. So there should be a bunch of happy hockey fans.

It will all go away once ND Supreme Court rules the law unconstitutional. THat is the one hope we all have. If NDSC does not rule unconstitutional, there is such a misconception of what this vote will do for UND that I am afraid UND can kiss any chance of not having this hurt UND away. I had a talk with some co workers and they had no idea that I would vote against this bill, because I am as big of a UND fan in my work as any. Then I explained how it hurts UND if we vote yes for this. They didn't know what this is really about. Lets put it in terms UND hockey fans can understand and most out here in western ND don't. If you ever want to see UND play Minnesota again after we leave WCHA, vote no to this.

The refs that worked this game were for the most part pretty good. I am sort of afraid of tonights game because it seemed like the penalties were more weighed against tech. BUT i would have to say that it was not because of bad calls. Butch does a really decent job in calling a game.

Wow, that was a really bad call. The guy didn't even move his skate in the direction of the goal.
