Midcontinent is a joke too. They only cover the local games. I am glad I have the sports package so that I can maybe pick up a game in colorado. FSN+ was to have the Wisc, series and someone forgot to turn it on. Luckly I was able to watch on regular tv. UND will always be small time for tv coverage because WDAY has its hooks in too deep. Sorry to sound so negative, but I am hating not being able to see more games here in Bismarck.

I really think that this new conference needs to add 2 more teams to the league. In my opinion, this will help with scheduling and make it a more geographical centered league. I think we need to add Mich Tech and Northern Michigan. Michigan Tech because of the historical McNaughten connection and they are an up and coming team. Northern Michigan to get back another of the past wcha teams. Any thoughts?

DHG, I would worry about the end of the regular season before you start talking about post season. Look at who you have yet, I see some rough road games and you have home series against 2 teams in the polls. There are 10 games left and you better take care of Alaska this weekend before you worry about the post season.

Looks like we got the Chyzyk Kid. Don't know much about him, but he may be a good prospect.

If I were the NCHC I would be looking at adding 2 more teams for that 10 team league. I myself think that one school that needs to be added to this is Mich Tech. You want to talk about some hockey tradition. All I need to say is McNaughten and that should be enough. Under thier new coach, I see this as an up and coming team. I think you are either onto something or on something. I like the idea of parks with the knight nelson line but blood needs to stay on D. I know that blood likes to bring the puck deep into the zone but we can't afford to weaken our D. It is our D that will bring us out of this especially if and when Forbort comes back.

I know this may seem strange, but I think that the team needs to think about mixing up the 1st line. Look at the way Parks played with the 1st line last week on friday. I just think that having him and Knight on one line and Kristo and Nelson on another will help get this thing moving a little more. It is just painful to watch right now with almost no flow in the offensive zone. Am I on the right track?

How can you defend a guy who clearly launches himself. Look at it, he didn't need to leave his feet to make the hit. When he launches he doesn't need to raise his arms because the upward motion takes the place of his arms. It is dirty and there is no place for it in hockey. We have had to many kids hurt with this type of play.

You probably won't see an apology from a gopher player. They take the lead of thier coach. Look at what happened when Mich Tech challenged them, they get into a shouting match with the coaches. They do a lot of chirping, take cheap shots and then run away. This is the culture they teach at the U of M.

Do I really have to take you back to geography class here? When is the last time you have seen a frozen pond in florida or texas or california. Yes it is a regional game because there was no way to have a hockey program in Florida or Texas back in 1929 when UND had its first hockey team.
