The Gophers have all the top teams at home this year, nothing we can do about that. From what I remember, the motto is split on the road sweep at home. I know we had a bump at home last weekend, but I foresee that happening this weekend with us winning tonight. My gut is telling me that at the end of the year we will be seeing the goofs at ralph south. Then maybe again on the road to Pittsburgh.

Correct me if I am wrong, but wasn't it against the goofs that he got hurt last year? That may also be motivation. I am so looking forward to this series. I hope UND comes out and shows that there is more than the goofs for elite teams in the WCHA.

I have said that hammer is nothing but a high school play by play guy for years. This is a prime case of it is not who you are, but who you know. There are much better play by play announcers available, they just didn't look.

There are multiple problems with the broadcasts. They are trying to squeeze 2 commercials in the time for one. It is simple, look at a clock, you have 30 seconds to get back to the game. It is called a hot clock and Hammer needs to get into commercials without all the extra talk. This is broadcast 101. The problem with the colors of the ice are camera operator problems. Do a white balance and that would take care of the problem. But when you go on the cheap, you will not get quality camera operators. Then lets talk about Hammer. This guy is a joke for hockey play by play. UND deserves better, we are a major hockey program and we deserve top quality talent, not high school guy.

My wife and I are thinking about this one too. Where can a person go to see ticket availability?

On this note, here is the scoop. The Wild did pick up Sheehy up in International Falls this morning and then went to Madison to meet with Suter as reported by Russo. Only thing is Redwings also got a meeting in today too. Isn't that Minnesota Nice. I really do feel this IS a package deal as far as Wild are concerned. We may hear from Zach yet today?

Any news on the flight plan for the Wild Plane? Common reported the flight plan as being International falls to Wisconsin and back to St. Paul

Well, I have a theory that may be coming together as we speak. I think that this is a package deal with Suter and Parise. Parts are now coming togther. Common just reported that a plane that is owned by the Wild was just up in International Falls, which is where Suters agent is. The plane is heading to Wisconsin, which is where Suter is now. They fly back to Minnesota, Pick up Parise and have a joint press conference, both signing with the Wild.

I am hoping that Pat Sweeny is going to be replaced too. I am getting sick of the same old lines every game. Lets bring in a big time name or even to a simucast of radio. Tim is a better play by play guy.

This team is SIOUX HOCKEY, they could have folded up after the 1st half of the year, but they didn't. If Hak doesn't get coach of the year, I don't know who else deserves it. This guy had 17 players and he pulled some magic out of his sleeve. This loss hurts but a few weeks ago I read numerous posts on here say, lets get this team an NCAA berth and they got it. Talk about a bright future.
