I went to the old RALPH a lot after I moved to Crookston in 1982 and became a student at UND. My son who would eventually graduate from UND was taken to his first hockey games as an infant, We would sit on the seats in the student section with him in his car seat. He wasn't even a year old when we started taking him to games. Moved to Southern MN and my family still travels to many UND hockey games with my family. I was telling another former student how much I miss the atmosphere of being in attendance at games in Grand Forks.

I do not know why you are getting down so much on UND, As I recall when Minnesota State first went D1 in the mid 90's UND was one the few WCHA schools that scheduled Mankato. Where was Minnesota when they first went D 1. I was a Puple Cow season ticket holder then and it also seens to me that some of the biggest crowds at the Midwest Wireless Center (Verizon) were when UND played there.

I am back at the Holiday Inn East BY 3M. Same place I have stayed for the last 2 years for Final 5 and NCAA Finals. They have a shuttle that this year dropped us off right by the doors at the X.

Maybe you snuck into a suite. All NCAA events do not allow alcohol. When we went out to DC for the frozen 4 beer advertising in the arena was hidden way up in the rafters.

I was at that game. Had Club seating at the John. I think they even served beer there. The hard part was going back the next day and watching Ferris State get beat on by the Goofs.

I called 1-800-745-3000 and talked to a customer rep. I was able to pick my section and row number . The y told me what seats were available. ON ticket master .com it is a crap shoot as to trying to get in the section that you want.

Seat in Section 119 Row 3. Got my ticket this morning, Same Section I sat in for Final 5.

I was at this game with my son and his girlfriend(a St Cloud State Student),His girlfriend was trying to talk smack to me when the score was 2-0. By the end of the game she was ready to crawl. I may never get her to switch to being a Sioux fan, but she now knows better than to talk smack in regards to Sioux hockey!

AA ties goofs

This past Christmas I received a North Dakota Hockey Team Gnome from my wife's brother, Kevin. This AM he passed away after a nine month battle with Cancer. I dedicate this game of Sioux Survivor to you Kevin as I feel that this Gnome will be a good luck charm to the Fighting Sioux in their quest for their third consecutive Final 5 Title! Friday- Nelson
