The NCAA may say that the University of North Dakota FIGHTING SIOUX has to change their nickname,BUT they will always be the FIGHTING SIOUX TO me. I have enough Sioux Apparel that I will wear it until my dying day. The NCAA needs to spend more time keeping an eye on schools that cheat than to harass small schools about their nicknames. THEY WILL ALWAYS BE THE FIGHTING SIOUX TO ME. I AM PISSED OFF ABOUT THE DECISION BUT NOW IS THE TIME TO RETIRE THE NAME! ALWAYS THE SIOUX! i never thought I would hear myself saying this!

I started the process of trying to get tickets for the NCAA frozen 4 two years ago. I got lucky and got drawn for my first frozen 4 2 years ago in DC. My wife and I enjoyed our time at DC for our first frozen 4. I also put in for the lottery last year for the debolicle(SP?) at Detroit. I ended up eating those tickets. I like to think i had a high enough priority number and that is what got me tickets this year in the lottery.Sure I was disappointed when the SIOUX didn't make it to the last two frozen 4's but I also hope I put myself in a position to get ticket this year. Which is priceless. It has always been my dream to attend a frozen 4 which the SIOUX participated in.I also responded to the e-mail sent out in January and purchased 2 additional tickets for a friend.

You aren't going to get fired for attending the pregame party? We will not let anyone know at your work that you attended the party.

Will be there in Club (C4) Row 4.Ice Arena Man and Youngest Son Thursday and Oldest Son, A UND alum, on Saturday. He can't get off work.

Tickets for NCAA tourney arrived today! Got 2 sets of tickets. The funny thing about it is that the tickets that I obtained in the lottery are 203 Row 2 . The additional 2 tickets that I bought after I got the e-mail that said I could purchase extra tickets are in C4 Row 4. Seems to me I got better seats with the extra tickets I bought. Called the X to find out which tickets seats were better and was told the club seats are better. Seems I got better seats by buying the extra tickets?

Leaving from southern minnesota to go to the Sioux vs Bemidji game. Go Sioux!!! Should be a fun and wild weekend.

It is no longer Holiday Inn. It is now the City Center Hotel. Mettlers has cold beer and good burgers on their menu as well as entertainment. BW's is a block from the civic center.
