Ice Arena Man

Humidity can be an important factor in the quality of ice. Both moisture in the air and rain will slow the ice down and not have a "Hard Ice". They may be able to keep ice at 70 degrees but it will be soft and slow. This is why arenas have dehumidification systems in them. Moist air and high humidity in an arena can be just as uncomfortable as cold weather.

My wife and I will be leaving Friday morning for the four hour drive to Omaha. Looking forward to a good time. Been a long time since I have watched a hockey game outdoors. Also have three extra tickets for Fridays game for sale for $15 each.

Hope Mafia Man sets up the get together at Hogsbreath and that you can attend again this year. I plan on attending for the third or fourth year in a row!

Actually SRO seats are not that bad, you just have to get there early if you want a rail spot. It is also easier if you want to purchase a group of tickets for this series. I always get one night reserved and one night SRO!

Friday Seats in Section 8 Row 17, Saturday its Standing Room Only. Taking my son along as well as a local Hospital employee who works in the therapy dept( Its his first game at the John) and a friend of his. We all are UND grads. Looking forward to a fun weekend. Dave Are they having the get together at the Holiday Inn this year?

At $55 a ticket for the upcoming goofer series at the John in January , It sure should help the athletic department to raise extra money so they can cancel other NC football games with the extra $'s and schedule creampuffs on their football schedule. We all know that the John will be filled with North Dakota FIGHTING SIOUX fans in January. Why would the U of M be so stupid not to schedule the SIOUX!
