To be fair, there are players that have played juniors after being drafted. Mostly later round picks though. Gersich, Collin Adams on the current roster come to mind. Jason Gregoire is another -drafted 3rd round, went to another year of USHL before coming to UND. We’ll see what happens this summer at the draft.

He said on The Pipeline Show last month that his arrival is still up in the air, but as of now, it’s a 2019 arrival. I assume he is the contingency plan if Colton Poolman leaves early. He doesn’t turn 18 until June, so he’d be one of the youngest players in college hockey if he comes in the fall. I will say he sounds very mature for his age though.

He must be a dual citizen? USA Hockey has hometown as Whitefish, Montana, but Elite Prospects has Calgary as his birthplace...

I decided I feel content that all these people are bothered about UND causing issues for their bracket. Anything that makes them mad, makes me happy. Haters gonna hate....

SCSU wouldn’t have to go east if the Midwest Regional was actually in the West. This is the real issue if you ask me.

Worcester, Mass and Manchester, NH (frequent regional sites) are both closer to all the Boston schools than Fargo is to Grand Forks. (Manchester is 40 minutes and you pass Worcester on the way to Boston from Manchester. ) Must have missed the outrage with those sites. It all comes down to the fact that east coast fans are too lazy to get in a car and drive 40 minutes to a game.

Brett was actually a 20 year old freshman. The only true freshmen in that class did not work out here.

That happened to me last week. A buddy told me he couldn’t get tickets on his phone and had to get on the computer to get to their website but that didn’t work for me.

I’m not as concerned about Duluth, (but still am a little concerned). But I’d rather play them Saturday and avenge last year on them in the championship game.

Yes. Nick Jones and Jordan Kawaguchi are Berry recruits. I believe there are a couple others also.

How do you know if DU’s recruits will pan out when they get to campus? If they don’t they’ll be in a heap of trouble also.

We should not be banking the entire next season on the incoming class. If we are going to bank on anything it should be on returning players taking a step forward. That is what should always happen. Freshmen contribute at various degrees, are pretty inconsistent, and often take time to adjust. This year’s sophomore class as a whole has not taken a step forward, and that’s been a big part of the problem.
