If you want to pick and choose which games to count stats or (which is what you are doing with the bolded sentence) that's fine. Also shots per game is a difficult stat to gauge because how many of these are routine shots on goal and how many are high quality? When I look at stats, I go the all games road. Reading this thread is getting me super bummed I'm not going to Oxford for this series this year. Was a great time last year. If anyone is going, if you park in the church parking lot by the rink, you probably won't get a parking ticket

The other thing about the schedule is that it was still ranked 8th in Strength of Schedule. I think the super tough conference schedule and the non-conference schedule balanced out. Think about if we had our non-conference schedule and played in like, the Big 10? THEN you could say we had a cake schedule.

I think the phrase "I wish they closed out games BETTER" would be a better statement. I personally, prefer to just take the W and move on no matter how ugly.

Last spring when I got back to work after the Frozen Four, one of my co-workers didn't know I was in Philly and asked me if I watched the championship game and I said, "yeah, I was there." And he told me I was lucky that I didn't have to listen to those horrible announcers on ESPN.

I don't think it's just here he gets overlooked. He's overlooked on his own team. In general, I'd say we have a lot of recruits that don't get a lot of discussion on this forum. But I always figured that has to do with everyone's familiarity with certain players over others.
