Add Carels, DuPont, and the Ruck twins and call it a day.

Since UND has never won more than 3 championships in any 15 year period I would be happy with 3 in the next 15. I would also be making a lot of futures bets on UND.

Looking at that right now it appears to be a very weak schedule. Could turn out much different but hard to get too excited about it.

Denver gets some breaks from the refs? Hard to believe, they always get the short end 🙄

Based on history I can’t pick Duluth. It’s been 33 years since the last time they won a league regular season title. Sandelin has never done it. I would probably go with North Dakota or Denver.

The longer this goes the more I think Denver wins. Michigan will make a mistake and Denver will capitalize.

If they’re calling that in OT then they should be calling everything.

Neutral site regionals will always have attendance issues. From the time you have the selection show until the regional is way to short for a lot of people to make travel plans. My suggestion, if you want to maintain neutral sites, would be to schedule a week off prior just like they do for the frozen four.

It was a cross check. However, that happens numerous times in every game without a call. The proper call should have been to ignore the cross check (like usual) and assess a two minute penalty for embellishing. You will never get rid of diving unless to start calling diving only penalties.

I wish they could just hand out 5 minute majors for diving. Tired of that crap.

Michigan with a bit of flop.

Don’t need to play all tough non-conference. There are 10 non- conference games each year (unless you have exempt games). Out of those 10 you need a series against a good Big10 team, another against a good hockey east team, one (&only one) series against the CCHA, one against either the ECAC or Atlantic hockey. That’s 8 games, the final 2 should be an additional series with the Big10 or hockey east. Finally, please stop scheduling Bemidji every stinking year. Thank you.

I have a bit of difficulty being happy for a player who checked out of a season while his team was trying to earn a playoff spot.

I don’t think we were ready to play against an aggressive good team. Our schedule this year wasn’t the most difficult, especially non-conference. In conference we only played Denver and WMU twice each. Wisconsin came out and set the tone early and we couldn’t recover. We had enough power plays, one a 5-3 for 1:56 and we never came close to scoring against the 62nd ranked penalty kill. Unacceptable. Too many turnovers in the defensive end, and frankly we looked very slow at times going after pucks. They really need to add a couple of true goal scorers for next season. I would like to get back to have a truly dominant top line. While I think the program is headed in the right direction now, it is still a giant letdown that the season ends with this type of performance. Need to take advantage of these opportunities when they arise and it feels like we missed a big one.

Power play sucked ass.

Hopefully. Problem I see is this team doesn’t have an elite goal scorer, Zellers may be the closest. They need to get some greasy goals and quit trying to blast it past him.

Second worst of all teams.

Worst 5 on 3 I have ever seen, and it was for almost 2 minutes.

Can’t win a faceoff, making horrible turnovers, losing puck battles. If this doesn’t turn around quickly in period two this season will be over. The first 5 minutes of period two will tells us if we have a chance.
