Not looking good for Wisconsin

Duluth trying to sell the dive, refs not buying.

Mankato’s powerplay looks horrible. No puck movement, not moving defenders, not even looking for a shot. This game is Western’s to lose.

All #1 seeds got the first game except UND.

Nice to finally win an NC$$ tourney game, been way, way, way too long for our program. Having said that, we didn’t play very well overall. If we want to continue winning we need to play a better. Fortunately, Merrimack didn’t have anyone that could shoot the puck or this game could have turned out differently. It seemed obvious that the ice was crap yet we still overpassed the puck instead of shooting and crashing the net. Hopefully we shook off the rust and the ice will be better on Saturday. Hats off to Spoons for playing well, would be great if he could string three more together.

I hope UND comes out fast but a bit concerned since they’ve only played one game in three weeks. Can’t afford to get behind and give Merrimack any hope.

UND game should be able to start on time, little chance of OT in the first game.

They could play two more periods and I don’t think UConn could score.
