Two very substandard periods. Need this third period to be our best period of the weekend.

It’s been brutal. Very poor defensive play for most of the night and extremely frustrating down the stretch when leading 6-3. No excuses for giving up breakaways at that point. The defensive play must show improvement if they want to win 4 consecutive games in the tourney. The way they played defense tonight will end any tournament run. They have a realistic shot at #9 this year but only if they play well defensively.

Are we not allowed to challenge the hit to the head. These officials should at least try. They are almost as bad as our play that period.

Reschny is so good. Hope we can have him for one more year.

Fitting goal to give up since they played pretty soft tonight. Very disappointing effort tonight after lackluster play last weekend.

The passing is atrocious and the defensive play is not much better. A different and much better team needs to come out of the locker room for the third period.

While I am encouraged by the overall play by the team so far, I have to temper my enthusiasm a bit when I look at our strength of schedule (30th). Our record against top 20 ranked teams is 1-1 (#5 Duluth), it is 3-1 against the top 20 in NPI (1-1 #4 Duluth, 2-0 #19 St.Thomas). Can’t complain about their record, just a bit concerned about the quality of the teams they’ve played so far. They have a few good tests with high ranked teams the rest of the way (Denver, at Duluth, at WMU).

Zellers played 17:43 tonight, Emery 4:01.

Probably bench him so he doesn’t keep making Bob look clueless.

That will probably get him benched for the next game the way Motzko coaches.

IMO Chaves needs to go period. Waits way too long to make changes that are obviously needed. Coaching changes were long overdue for football, slightly less but still waited too long for hockey, and basketball just a big cluster…mess.

The officials at the FCS level are awful, including the replays. They just gave USD a touchdown when he was down by contact. Unbelievable.

Not sure I care enough to cheer for or against any of the teams left. They all suck.

Lost a home game while getting 5 interceptions.

6x5 extra attacker goal

The refs flat out suck. There is absolutely no way that ref should have ever signaled a goal. No way he could see where the puck was, only that one Denver player was celebrating. On replay no goal…just pathetic.

I would tell my goalie to kick the net off anytime there’s a scramble in front. The St. Cloud goalie kicked it off intentionally earlier, failed on the first try so a gave it a little extra nudge to dislodge it. Absolutely should have been a penalty shot for us.
