Can’t really expect them to win again this weekend against a team that is 30th in Pairwise. That’s just too tall a task for any team, especially in a game that is irrelevant.

Painful to watch this team play. We are not fast enough and our passing is awful. We rarely go north/south, way too much east/west trying to break out of our end. It seems like their only “breakout” is to flip the puck out of the zone which means we are back to chasing the play. It may be that the poor passing makes us seem slower than we are but I think we need an upgrade in team speed. How many unforced errors did we have tonight? It appeared to be a constant flow of passes right to Western at times. I thought TJ played pretty well but he never gives me much confidence as he is flopping around a lot. He can make some nice saves but his style just makes me cringe. A lot of questions need answers at the end of this season but I believe it is time for a coaching change. Start fresh with a completely new staff.

Don’t expect any upward movement by beating Duluth. There are still at 18. Watch the RPI as that will pretty much mimic the Pairwise. They are currently closer to 22 than 17 in RPI. Pretty much need to sweep Western next weekend. Anything else and they probably need to win the conference tourney to get in.

I’ll believe Lawson is around 3700 capacity.

Could be. Not much of a loss based on this season. Disappointed in his development, thought he’d take another step this year…I guess he did but it was a step backwards.

If the goalies are equal then I would favor the sophomore over the fifth year senior. Much better odds he will improve with playing time.

Need to find the positives for Brad Berry: 1. They won’t lose another first round NC$$ tourney game this year. 2. More free time to find the next portal goalie.

It doesn’t, but maybe we can pickup a few Sacred Heart players in the portal.
