The Montana game reminded me a lot of the NDSU/Montana State playoff game, Griz pushed both their lines around all day and McGhee looked rattled. It was a good day to be a Griz fan. Road is going to be pretty tough for MSU now, if they win their first game they would have to play at Sam Houston State and then probably at Missoula...not quite the #1 schedule they were looking at last week. NDSU looked to have a pretty decent draw, they should cruise to the semis.

This looks worse than the FCS Coaches Poll, Hak and Sandelin get no votes but Lucia does? What does he have to do to win...get to the Final Five for a change?

Now that Hextall is gone the smart money is on Blood. Maybe more than one.

I've been saying all fall that Seattle is the worst team, but KC without Charles has looked terrible and they have no defense whatsoever so until they can stop somebody they might be the worst team. St. Louis, Minnesota, Indy, and Cincy should win enough games to stay out of the 'Luck Bowl' although if Jackson keeps getting hurt Bradford might not be able to keep the Rams afloat alone.

Well...3 weeks...3 Viking choke jobs. I expected them to struggle this year but they legitimately had all 3 teams on the ropes and let them off the hook, this is going to be a long frickin year. Hey how about that Patriot/Eagle Super Bowl all the 'experts' were on board for? Eat crow boys.

3rd in both polls, I'm surprised with all the scorers we lost and the youth on the forward lines we're ranked that high, but I hope they're right.

If the stress of this coaching position is contributing to his health problems he might have to walk away, at least for the rest of the year...apparently this isn't a one-time thing. Hope they can figure out what's going on at Mayo.

I was thinking this morning driving home that if the Sioux don't win this game by about 40 the great effort at Fresno will be for naught, so it's good to see that they took care of business. Looking at the box score they must have played a lot of young guys in the 4th when BHS scored twice, nice to have your backups playing in the right end of a blowout for a change.

Montana State looked pretty good winning at EWU, pushed them around most of the game, they are the best team in the BSC. Grizzlies dig a big hole with bad special teams plays and lose at Sac. State, didn't look good at all.

Good win for NDSU, another hit on the lousy UM sports programs. It's so bad that none of us are really surprised. They can't blame this one on 'took them lightly', they used that excuse last time. Pathetic.

Well, there it is. Now it will be interesting to see how St. Cloud backtracks on their 'we didn't want to play there anyway' statements or if they...um...turn the invite down.

I would assume the 6 existing members would have the voting rights regarding new members, probably with Denver and UND being the leaders (no facts, just speculation).

We didn't really trade SCSU, they were there before and after, like Denver, CC, and Duluth.

It would seem that way, otherwise we'd be right back to the unbalanced WCHA-type schedule...play some teams twice and others once, not the best setup from my viewpoint.
