everytime the kings enter the zone you feel they could end it, not so much with the rangers
-
IDK you listen to these broadcasts by NBC you would think there is only one team playing and how great they are.
-
still going with Kings in five. once LA settled in they outscored them 3-0 and dominated. Kings win games 2 and 3, Rangers win game 4 on a fluky OT goal and LA celebrates after game 5 and are labeled the greatest team ever to win a Stanley Cup.
-
so what you're saying is that Jesper Fast could play in this series
-
Hak should instill a policy that if a recruit starts to flirt with the possibility of going the major junior route he should immediately pull the offer and move on. you either want to come here or you don't.
-
well you gotta do, what you gotta do
-
might be stacked but as a whole team they had WAY, WAY, WAY too many defensive breakdowns these whole playoffs. and that is a big reason they are sitting at home making tee times.
-
intangibles-won three game 7's on the road, came back from down 3-0 against San Jose, came back from third period deficits in games 2 and seven and they just won't go away. Lundqvist may be better, but Quick makes the saves(s) to keep the Kings in it. in games 2 and 7 the Hawks weren't able to add that extra goal to get to a three goal lead and it killed them in the end and Quick was a HUGE reason why they didn't. Again I hope I am wrong and the Rangers win it, maybe this will go seven and the Rangers give the Kings a taste of their own medicine. But I don't think it gets that far.
-
the Rangers have a slight edge in goaltending, Kings have an advantage in eveything else-offense,defense, special teams, coaching and intangibles. Kings in 5.
-
nope, just first losers and the Blackhawks are the second losers and Canadians are the third losers.. no one remembers who finished second unless you are referring to the Vikings or Bills.
-
doesn't matter if they win in 4,5,6 or 7. Rangers won't win four games.
-
I disagree, there is more intrigue witht he NBA Finals as either team has a legit shot at winning. can't say the same about the SCF.
-
let the start of the Kings dynasty begin. two in three trumps two in four. Rangers have zero shot at beating LA. Go Rangers though.
-
the Blackhawks just seem to get better as a series goes on. Over the last two years they are unbeaten in games 5-7 and going back to 2010 they are 21-3 versus 25-23 in games 1-4. we'll see if the trend continues tomorrow.
-
one of the analysts after the game last night said this was the greatest series he has ever seen. I wouldn't go that far. games 2, 3 and 4 weren't that great. 5 and 6 were by end to end play, but that has been it. I thought the Hawks/Blues series was better, I mean four of the six went to OT(one 3OT), goals scored late to send them OT.
-
according to Goon it's over as well tonight, although he said it was going to end and there will be handshakes on Wed. night. Go Rangers???
-
off topic, but at what point will some penalties be allowed to be reviewed. last night a Canadians player get high sticked in the face and pushed into Lundqvist and gets called for goalie interference. officiating has been brutal in these playoffs. NHL has to be licking its chops over LA/NY final, look for Kings to get majority of calls tonight not that they will need them though. Doughty has said they need game 6 tonight and don't want to give Chicago any more life and will come out storming. 5-0 Kings after one tonight, 7-2 after 2 and 10-3 final while going 8 for 12 on the PP.
-
so does that mean LA plays with added pressure?
-
Rangers win and pack their sun tanning clothes for what most likely looks like a trip to LA.
-
now who's copying who?
-
all teams do it, it has become an epidemic. one way to solve it is institute an automatic 5 min major and game dq and if it is done in the last five min of a game or OT it becomes the next game. and have officials with enough balls to call it.
-
well they both have been problems this series.
-
his problem is everytime he enters the zone he goes wide to the left gets checked into the wall by a defenseman, loses the puck and possession over. he looks comepletely lost out there. Hossa hasn't scored many goals but at least he has been active both with and without the puck.
-
Agree with everything but that last part, maybe a hat trick of hits though. I don't see Chicago winning in LA, as they gave them everything they had and it still took 2OT's to beat them at home. I will say this, if Chicago somehow finds a way to win Fri, good chance they give LA a dose of their own medicine in game 7.

yep. Pacers ended up being a complete joke the last three months. hopefully the Spurs or Thunder can knock off the Heat.
