agree, anyone remember yale last year? there was plenty of we got this in the bag against them. nothing has come easy for this years squad and I don't expect tonight to be any different.
brad or jayson had another interesting stat on friday when ohio state beat them. this current gopher senior class has won ZERO games in their conference tournaments.
it all comes down to if UND can put the puck in the net. they have struggled all year to do this on a consistent level. and from here on out starting with Rumpel the goaltenders won't be pushovers should they advance.
people, people. I know they are both small animals and easy to mistaken for each other but it is the badgers und faces on friday. not the rodents. that won't take place until the second thursday in april in philly.
this is why certain penalties should be reviewable. to the referees defense this all happens at game speed and it is imposible to get everything correct.
here is one tourney tidbit. 4 out of the last 5 national champions failed to reach the tournament the year before. does this bode well for colgate, ferris st, robert morris, vermont and providence? we shall see.
absolutely, but the I talked to so and so and they said something interesting could have been left out. it's like when we were younger and I've got a secret nana nana booboo.
no they aren't. holy cross had been the tourney in 2004 if you recall and played UND pretty well and the core group in 2006 was on that 04 team. The closeset bob morris has been to the tourney was running the zamboni last year in pittsburgh.
ok, I will be the first one here to say it. Robert Morris has zero chance of winning this thing. I don't care about what has happened in years past and last year with Yale. Robert Morris is no Yale. look for Miinesota to cruise to like a 5-1 win or something like that.
attendance in cincy will be brutal. last year in the regional in toledo with miami there they drew 2900 and 2400 for both games the redhawks were in. I'm sure the first game was bolstered a little bit with Notre Dame fans as well. 2000 grand tops for these games unless Ferris can bring bus loads of fans from michigan.
