I wish Hakstol all the best and I wish he were still the coach and I will root for him all but two games a year. my point was more of at Berry's hiring and everyone applauding it. is he the best hire-maybe, probably. but no one even wrote an article questioning as to why not look at former alum Sandelin or even Eades. Sandelin has more titles this current coaching staff had combined. with Hakstol we knew what we had and could expect. the grass isn't always greener on the other side for those who are probably loading up Hakstol's items in the moving van as we speak..

I'm sure it's been said on here before, but Hakstol will not get any free rides from the Philly media like here did here in Grand Forks. Nor the fans as they are the ones that booed Santa Claus and Mike Schmidt.

after this season trading sharp is a distinct possibility my point I guess was that despite all these all stars they have troubles scoring, and have all year and that will need to change if they expect to win this series as I don't see many 1-0 games.

not if they can't figure a way to score consistently. a problem which has plagued them all year. they outplayed the ducks today and have nothing to show for it. they need to find a way to score 4 goals a game as 1 or 2 isn't going to beat the ducks.
