No chance Western ends up in Fargo as a 1 seed. They will be in Cincinnati. Maybe this is DU strategy to get a shot at UND again.

As dumb as this sounds WH still has a better chance of winning a NC than any other program up for discussion of being cut. Change the leadership of the program and you will see better results.

Why is there such a gap between them and GF. In watching the game last night GF looked slow and unskilled. Is that there isn't enough interest at the girls level to put together a higher end team?

When the tourney is in GF why not use the Olympic arena like they used to instead of having it at Purpur? Then it is held at one site.

why keep softball? It's men's counterpart is gone , they have a $600 k budget and spend the first two months flying all over the country to play.

This team is exactly what their record says they are, an average team.

I'm not exactly sure how title ix works but my guess is you couldn't just cut WH and call it good. There would have to be men's sports cut as well. $1.3 million is what two of these other programs. If you take out WH the cuts will be more than just 2.
