In the bracket challenge I have them winning the region and going to Boston. My point was their SOS down the last few months has not been the greatest compared to others. Doesn't mean I don't think they are a very good team.
I don't see them putting Mankato in Worcester with UMass and Harvard. Essentially home games for them and they have precedent for protecting the 1 and 2 overall seeds from that. I see Mankato in Albany.
In the future if UND wins its first round series maybe they just forfeit their game at the Frozen Faceoff instead of wasting gas and hotel rooms for an annual debacle of being bounced on Friday anyway.
You want to be playing your best hockey in March, it sure looks like they peaked about a month ago and have been going down a slippery slope since. Truly hope I am wrong but not expecting much from next weekend no matter who plays or doesn't.
Losing Kleven isn't the worse thing for Friday. Maybe they will play with some urgency like they did the month of Feb. They seem to play better short handed.
