Maybe the defensive issues lies in the mentality of these kids. A youth hockey mentality of just caring about offense and not giving a rip about playing D?? How else can you explain just standing there off a faceoff and letting them just walk in for a shot.

Agree on Johnson, what do they have to lose at this point. As far as Kleven and Ottawa go this isn't a case of him getting screwed. It is a case of him retaliating and getting booted. It is always the second guy that gets caught. He made a very bad choice and will pay the price.

This is one of those series where you feel like they got swept instead of the other way around. Playing one of the worst teams in the country and can only manage to escape with two wins. Not good. Not good at all.

Why was Canada the home team last night and tonight despite being the lower seed? Host team?? They might as well just name this tournament the Team Canada International Tournament considering they are about the only country hosting it recently.

Don't disagree at all but in the last few weeks of not playing they have moved up what 4 spots in the pairwise-rankings. The secret to this teams success looks like to not be playing games. Keep this trend up and they should be the number one overall seed -

Now go and win 6 or 7 games in January to put yourself in position to make a meaningful run in Feb and March. -
How can you say they were the better team?? Completed one pass the entire game and gave up over 500 yards of total offense. The more fortunate team, yes. Better, no.

For those in an uproar over NDSU hosting this weekend, this will be no walk in the park for them. No guarantee they make it to Frisco. This could be a track meet and their offense isn't designed for that.
