    Give me 2 or 3 Jake Sanderson type blue chippers on every team surrounded by the supporting cast and things will be just fine. But you have to have the constant stream in the pipeline.

    It was different and there were more restrictions. You didn't have 100 college hockey players transferring schools let alone multiple tranfers by the same player. You had a fraction of what is going on now.

    Pre Covid there wasn't a portal and they had to figure it out, why not now? I hate the portal and everything it stands for.

    Absolutely. My expectations are to be in the tournament every year, make frozen fours on a somewhat regular basis and bring home a title every once in a while. It has been 7 years since UND last was in a FF.

    Probably pretty high as you get a lot of small schools out east that host and don't make it.

    Outside of NDSU football I don't know of a program that wins it every year and even they didn't this year.

    Since 2016 3 league titles 0 NCAA titles and soon to be 3 non playoff appearances. Duluth in that same span 0 league and 2 NCAA and hasn't missed a tournament. Denver 2 league titles, 2 NCAA and has missed 1 tournament. It's the green banners that really matter and this will be the third time in his tenure they won't even get to play for one.

    When he keeps getting kicked out of games and suspended that is a problem. We can go down the road of he is targeted by the officials but as a player you need to be smart enough not to put yourself in those positions.

    So the climate hasn't been an issue with recruiting until the last 6 or 7 years?? I don't buy that. The problem has been the man in charge.

    I remember the days when we had 7 first round picks in the lineup. Now we might get one every fours years or so if we are lucky. It has been 6 years since there was a forward in the lineup who was a first round pick.
