I've got a "little project" going on in my house, and I was wondering where I could purchase some of the great photos from UND's sports history... Item's similar to those in Suite 49 & REA. (Large Rube Bjorkman championship photo, for example) Anyone have a contact # for someone who would have some of this stuff available? Should I contact the hockey offices, REA, Virg, or ? Thanks for any help!

Everyone was pissed off, that's for sure! (and I think DamStraight was on the sauce with his loooooooong posts)

I still remember this group as "the freshman." That big freshman class that was so heavily relied on to fill holes right away. The first year was tough. Inexperience, a new building, a new type of hockey fan. But you kept playing hard and giving everything. The year was maybe a disappointment, but the on-ice education you received was priceless. The second year was better. You showed flashes of brilliance, and very few signs of inexperience. All in all, you still gave us your best, and let us hope for #8. The third year was a big one. We had scoring talent, and our "freshman" were now experienced d-men and powerful skilled forwards. Again, you gave your best and again gave us a chance to relish in the thought of another NCAA banner. Again, we came up a bit short, but we took solice in the fact that our "freshman" were now seniors. What a group of experience we had coming back. For sure, we still had the tools to take it all home. It was a bad summer, though, for our "freshman" as one of them left the group for the pros. Add another key player and arguably the best hockey coach in D-I to the MIA list, and all we had to rely on was your experience. It started rocky, learning a different style from a different coach. Something just wasn't clicking. The fans were upset, and started questioning why the experience didn't seem to be there. Just when we questioned the heart of this big class, you all stepped forward to tell us doubters to shove it. You took us on a whirlwind at the end of the season that left many heads spinning in dismay. We wanted heart, and what the "freshman" showed us was something nobody expected. You gave it all, and that's the best gift an average joe fan like myself could ever ask for. For that, I thank you tremendously. From opening night at REA, with the fanfare, and the bright lights, to the big stage in Columbus, you have seen it all. You have shown heart and class in victory and defeat. You've stared adversity and bad circumstances in the eyes and faced it all head-on. You've all burned your marks in the history of Sioux Hockey and you won't be forgotten. You have epitomized what the Fighting Sioux Hockey tradition is all about. To "the big freshman class," thanks for a memorable 4 years. It was a helluva ride for you, and it was a helluva a ride for the hockey fan like me. I'm very, very grateful.

No... but I can say "Hirsch Headcase" really fast ten times in a row.

After hearing he was up to the same old (cheap) tricks last weekend, I'm not ready to give him a free pass just yet.

Those darn German exhaust fumes are getting to you... better buy American next time!

It's a good time to do it... Murray should be on the ice on Thursday.

After all the speculation, interviews, and internet chatter, I've come to one conclusion: Tyler's outburst was nothing more than a kid who acted out of line because he got beat. He then rode home with Mom & Dad to continue pouting. After reconsidering his ridiculous actions, he begged to be placed back on the team he walked out on. Lucia possibly not playing him is probably to teach him a valuable lesson about being a member of a team. Now... this is what it looked like on video, and nobody including himself has come out and said he is having mental/ psycological issues. If that was the case, why wouldn't he want to end all the chatter and speculation? So, I'm calling it like I see it... a kid got his ass kicked and went home to cry about it.

Wow... that pretty much says it all, doesn't it!

FYI From this morning... I heard the bus trips had only 24 seats available, and pricing with hotel would be just shy of $500.00.

I think "questionable" might have been a better choice of words for the poll. Like some, I have mixed feelings too. I think the intentions may be good, but IMO they don't seem sincere. To me it looks like it was the "PC thing to do" and they went with it.

I've heard lots of opinions on this already... what are yours?

Makes perfect sense to me!

Thanks for the post, PCM... I couldn't describe my thoughts and feelings of this team any better than you already did. Thanks, guys, for showing the "heart" that we were asking for, and then giving more. Go Sioux!

Sounds like a "lawyerly" response...

Is there some law that prohibits naming minors in the media? Just noticed that his first "altercation" was at age 16. Law gurus?
