How fast does Denver get out of the SL. They become members next year. As for NDSU going to the BSC...remember them and SDSU are a package deal. (How quick will the Bison dump the Jacks for a secure conference now that the Jacks have the Yotes). Just read a post on BV that's interesting...if the SL/MVFC were to offer UND the same deal they gave USD.....does UND leave the BSC In all sport for the SL in all sports and the MVFC for football?

I know ESPN has ranked their top 25 for recruiting class.....but does the FCS do this? I would like to know how our class stacks up to other FCS teams more importantly how we stack up against the Big Sky.

Just wait til football season starts this fall they care more about what we are doing than worrying about their own conference foes.

I understand that people like me cannot attend every game but when students can show up at hockey games and not football games there is a problem. Our fan base for football is finally moving back in the right direction thanks to being in the Big Sky. I hope it continues.

If I didn't take care of my kids, work overnight or live in Fargo I would have season tickets to UND football, basketball and hockey. But my funds are limited with kids, gas, bills and of course the money spent at each game. My goal is to attend the Potato Bowl game ( the kids love the parade) and one other game. If I do have extra money and get vacation time approved i could try a third game but until the kids get older two games is pretty much the max for me.

I work overnights in Fargo and I work every weekend plus with 3 kids and limited vacation time I cannot attend all the UND games or else I would. So who !@#$ in your oatmeal this morning?

With only 8 that's right....EIGHT conference games left we need to come away with big wins and sweeping the Montana's would be a great start!

I miss the Big Irish burger at Bennigans. It made me mad when Fargo closed theirs followed by Moorhead. Where can you go to get a 1 pound burger?

I guess that would be a problem we all would like to see is if the Alerus runs out of spots due to sold out games. It was that article about the concert that said parking is very limited that got me thinking what happens if UND football gets on track where we start winning and we get 12-13k in the seats. Expansion is good with hotels, stores and eating places as long as there is room to expand parking if needed.

There are sidestreets around the cemetery where people could park (including me since I grew up around that neighborhood), at the Alerus you can't just park on I-29, 42nd St, or DeMers and walk. Its either park at the Alerus, take a shuttle or have someone drop you off.

They said there is limited parking for the George Strait concert. Remember football is not the only thing done in the Alerus.

I am just saying with all the expansion and building around the Alerus (Sleep INN, VD) they are going to find that people want to park there....not shuttle. Why not build enough parking for the Alerus? You want to stand in line outside the Engelstad (or shuttle point) if its windy, cold, and rainy/snowing to get a bus? Or drive to the Alerus and walk into the building. I have never taken the shuttle but have seen people stand there for busses. I don't know the average wait time, can someone fill me in on that.

But isn't the Alerus losing space by all the building around it. Aren't they going to wonder where do people park? They had lots and lots of land but now you have a hotel to the south (can't remember what its called) eating up parking spots, then you have the Canada Inn to the north VD to the east and the interstate to the west. IMO unless you build a huge parking ramp they are going to run out of room to park. I don't think many people want to drive to the Engelstad, Altru or wherever the shuttles come from (pay them) then wait til after the game, get on a shuttle, and then drive home from the drop off spot. I would rather drive there and drive home (minus the 5 dollar parking fee).
