Hope you stay dry Oxbow. Lets hope for the best.

I live down the street from the VA hospital about 6 blocks from the river and a 45ft dike protecting me, if the river goes over that its over for Fargo. So it's scary (especially after living the 97 GF flood) but there was major improvements to North Fargo like flood walls and higher dikes so up to 42 should be no problem but after that and its touch and go....thanks for your concern and I will keep everyone updated on we (Fargo) are doing.

I never heard of it before Fargo announced they were getting one.

What would it take to raise/lower scholarships? A vote per conference or a vote of every DI school? Or is it some NCAA board of execs who can alter the rules as they please.

They are moving where Chili's was and Chili's is moving into West Acres where Grizzleys was. It won't be open for quite awhile.

What conference will the other Dakotas be in 2015?

He would be the bitch of the Horizon League Commissioner. " Hey Douple get me my coffee" -
Roof may be to low. Play at the Metrodome.
-
The three tier plan would be UND's way (and most likely NDSU's way) of moving up into the "FBS". Without a championship and neither school having a shot at the big boys bowl game (Orange, Rose, etc) there really is no point of moving up without a 3 tier division. I think keeping the non-scholarship teams in the FCS while moving the bigger conferences (BSC, MVFC, etc) into the new tier of DI with conferences like the SB, MAC, MW, would be great. Hopefully they get rid of the attendance rule (which is never enforced anyways), and lets see UND play Ohio (both schools play Stand Up and Cheer) for a National Title.

I say a merge with what's left of the Horizon league. Douple will do anything to keep his conference alive (of course not adding UND and UNC was a huge blunder on his part). -
I hope that comes true. 38 is no problem for the city.

Obama is not responsible for this as was Bush to 9/11. These are sick bastards that need to fry...plain and simple. Our government gets lots of threats from nut job groups that want to destroy the USA, and its impossible to make sure they don't follow through on every one. Until there is no evil in the world...there will always be a chance of a terrorist attack.

I don't care how protected Fargo is...when we hit levels in the 40's there is too much that could go wrong. For one thing you have hardly any way to get across into Moorhead except Main Ave or I-94. So you have a traffic nightmare in an evacuation, plus the VA dike goes to 45 and if the river gets to that...my house an probably all of North Fargo goes under. Lets hope for a crest of under 40!!!

That's what I do. I try to kick ass in recruiting and build the team up.
-
Its okay their fans are counting on the Horizon and MAC instead of the MVC, especially when they (MVC) accept a sub 200 RPI team like Loyola. ButtRPI.

Grand Forks was full of slaves in 97 right? There is a difference in being forced to do this (slave labor) and doing this out of the goodness of your heart. Those kids had brought home permission slips from school to do this, they could have stayed in school but felt helping keep the city above water was more important. Ed Schultz's comment was really stupid an your comment rivaled that.

Already 6" in Dickinson, no travel advised in the west. This thing is going to start around noon and last Monday. I was hoping the late start meant it was going to die out...guess not.
-
They will travel...just not to Grand Forks.
-
So lets call it 2-11 inches. Lol!!
-
NWS is saying 10-11 inches for GF and Fargo
-
Storm starts around midnight Saturday night and lasts until Monday. Only 5 1/2 months until we start this all over.
-
Looks like a possible 6-12 inches maybe more in the valley. Hutch said around the 23rd could be the trigger to start the 2013 flood. This snowstorm isn't going to make things easier.
-
Because he knows his conference is dying and is jealous that UND got an invite to the BSC and NDSU failed at two attempts to get in.
-
So if the MVC gets UIC and Loyola, and if and when Detroit leaves (IMO pretty soon), that leaves the Horizon down to 6 members: Green Bay Milwaukee Cleveland St Valpo Wright St Youngstown St 6 Horizon and when Oakland departs the SL will have 6 full DI members 7 with Denver...those two conferences might as well merge and have divisions.
