Compete for what? Last year was the only year to compete for playoffs before that it was for ONLY a GWFC title which UND won in 2011. UND's transition was pretty much parallel with SDSU's transition, including losing to a sub DI team (which is shameful, but you get over it). Yes NDSU kicked ass in transition but it still took them 3 years to make the playoffs when they became eligible...including going 3-8 and having fans calling for Bohl's head. So sit back, take a breath, and be patient.

He is so dead on. They are losers, a waste of humanity and deserve to die. I can't see the one suspect giving up, he will die in a fire fight or commit suicide.

But remember NDSU made it to the playoffs in its first...nope second....nope third yep third year after transition. With the aftermath of transition gone, an actual DI schedule (no DII's), and no FBS games...I believe this is the year UND gets into the playoffs.

NDSU fans love to cherry pick too. Since 1960 whatever NDSU leads the series against UND, and blah blah blah. Taylor won't schedule UND in football because he sees what is happening in other sports (volleyball, basketball, baseball) he saw his 5 year head start gone in those sports. Too bad the FCS playoffs won't keep UND away from NDSU no matter how Taylor would like it to happen. What happens if NDSU loses (besides total meltdown at Bisonville), you would have recruits looking at UND instead of NDSU, you would have more pressure on NDSU to schedule UND to "even the score". It would be like it was from 1993-2003...the decade of dominance for UND football over NDSU. 10 UND wins to 3 NDSU wins (and only 1 win in the Fargodome for SU).

That's right when UND starts to kick ass in the FCS...that's NDSU's cue to move to the FBS.

Just proves whatever it looks like on paper...even the best (NDSU) can fall. Didn't you learn anything from March Madness?

You sure about that? YSU didn't get killed in 2011 and ISU didn't get killed in 2012. That's why they play the game.

Well...so far we are on par with NDSU 1 GWFC title, and no playoff appearance in the first year of being full DI members. I hope we don't do the 3-8 again. Can't handle that one.

I just think its funny how they call UND cupcakes, and measure us up to Wagner...but yet still won't schedule us. If they think they will win 80-0 like Moorhead State then put your money where your mouth is.

April 1980....I was 4 so I don't quite remember that heat spell. I do know the 1980s was a very hot decade.

Only 7 BSC teams are on Root Sports....7!!! There are 13 teams in the conference at least have 2 different teams a week. They could have shown UND vs Montana State or EWU at UND.
