The Big 12 is looking at adding Colorado State and one other team (I'm hearing UCF) which would leave an open spot in the Mountain Division of the Mountain West. Idaho could be an option, although Boise will likely fight that.
-
Anyone else going? Saw Chris Kuper will be attending. Temps should be mid 30s unless a warm front moves in toward the end of the week. Would be nice to see a road win to get to 5-7.

My guess is it has more to do with Watch Big Sky than midco. The conference wants the games streamed from their site... one location for everything and that's why it's not on ESPN3.

Studsrud had knee stuff too or just a typo and meant Molberg?

Won't be on NCHC.tv. -
NCHC went 4-2-1 on the weekend in non-conference. Big 10 was 4-4-1. 3-1 for WCHA.

Pairwise literally means nothing until late March. It's designed to fluctuate until the final weekend. A team can go from 16 to 1 from January to March... Not because they moved up but because the Pairwise formula was finally complete.

Not everyone at Midco agrees with doing just 5 games. -

Because you knew Molberg would be out for the season and Bartels would not practice this week and you're a big fan of scout team offenses being led by Wide Receivers?

Looks like that article was pulled. -
Why wouldn't there be a controversy anyway? Studsrud could win the starting job next year with zero games under his belt. Play the best QB period.
-
Yes Blais' teams had speed but they were some of the best cycling teams in the country. Opponents were so tired in the third from the relentless cycle his teams used. So why so much hate on Hak's teams that cycle?
-
Bartels has yet to start a game this year. He's played less than two full games throughout the season. Joe has still gotten most of the first team reps in practice. That's why people aren't ripping Ryan like they would Joe. He's been thrown in unexpectedly with less preparation than Joe so he deserves some slack.

To be fair... when UND signed the agreement with Midco, all of those games were still available minus FTA. UND hockey games were still on Midco, on other local cable stations, on FCS and available for pickup from NHL Network. There was also the benefit of $1,000,000 over the life of the contract. The NCHC deal with CBSSN changed all of that but when UND signed the contract with Midco they were still getting all of that exposure and making the product to UND fans all over the country was still the point. -

SiouxTupa probably knows. He's the expert here. But he's also a Providence fan so I don't know if you can trust him. -

As a UNO fan, I'm sure you've really enjoyed being able to watch all of their games including next weekend when they're at Cornell. Or are you going to that series? -
We all should be big fans of SCSU, CC, Miami and Western this weekend. We need those four teams and UND to sweep. It will go a long way to getting 3-4 teams in the tournament come springs.
-
From the press release: That's why FSN will be more likely to air UND games in the future. It's a lot less work for them because a majority of the crew is in-house from UND and the area. They don't have to worry about bringing up a full crew for a game.
-
I'm guessing since Midco isn't doing those games, they let UND try to air them elsewhere.
-
Football already has a deal with Midco for games so those can't be added.
-
They're certainly no Stoney Brook

For the first year of the Midco deal, every home game was on FCS. Then the NCHC/CBSSN thing happened which removed those games. Now we are in year three and I'm hopeful it's back on FCS soon. -

Not defending Midco, but how many of those people are buying anything advertised during the game? The only money Midco would get back is from local viewers.
