  1. Interesting article about Zach Parise and his chances of wearing the "C" in New Jersey this season: Article
  2. I'm sticking with my earlier prediction: Blood - C Lamoureux - A Knight - A
  3. Correct. If you have the sports pack you should be able to see any game that's aired on any of the Fox College Sports channels.
  4. There's some mention of the January game between North Dakota and Clarkson in Winnipeg in today's Free Press: Winnipeg Free Press
  5. If St. Cloud is a solid contender for admission, wouldn't you think they would have been included in the original plans?
  6. Parise was #17 overall. Want to change your pick?
  7. Miller - #20 Grimaldi - #27 St. Clair - #184 Simpson - #191
  8. Yeah, that strategy didn't turn out too bad for Duluth!
  9. Too early to start captain predictions? Here's mine: Blood - C Lammy - A Gregoire - A If Gregoire leaves, replace him with Knight.
  10. My guess is that they really like him and they want to make sure they don't lose him if he stays in school through his senior season, and has the option to wait until August 2012 to become a free agent. Didn't they lose Blake Wheeler like that?
  11. Here's a link to an interview with Brad Treliving, VP of Hockey Operations and Assistant GM with the Coyotes: Treliving Interview At about the 12 minute mark, he's asked about college prospects in their system who might be coming next year. Regarding Hextall, he says "Hextall is a player who, in the next day or so, we're trying to get done .... so he'll be coming out."
  12. Earlier in this thread, there's mention of agreements with Boston U and Vermont over the next few years. Perhaps we'll be making the trip to one of those schools next season?
  13. Pony! Without a doubt. The way he plays is the way I hope my sons play the game someday.
  14. I'm sure INCH will figure out a way to spin it into a negative against UND fans. Probably blast us for not cheering loud enough. Those guys are a bunch of clowns!
  15. I have 1 extra ticket for the championship game in section C33. Asking $100 or best offer. Email fargosioux@cableone.net if interested.
  16. I've seen some Sioux players walking around St. Paul today (57 degrees and sunny by the way), so I assume Matt will have some teammates at the ceremony tonight.
  17. USCHO has some details about the "Friday Night at the Frozen Four" event: USCHO: Friday Night at the Frozen Four Here's a list of college hockey legends who will be attending:
  18. A friend of mine emailed somebody at the XCEL Center with some quesitons, including which end the Sioux will be shooting at twice. Here was the response:
  19. For those of you who can't get to the Star Tribune article, I found this reprint on another paper's site: Sacramento Bee - Frattin Article
  20. Most recent matchup between these two teams, so it's bound to be most fresh in my memory. Funny story, there was a kid all dressed up in Bulldog gear sitting right in front of me that night, and he didn't quite care for me cheering for the Sioux. By the end of the night I swear he had switched his allegiance to UND. He was turning around and giving me knuckles whenever the Sioux scored.
  21. I just remember going to check out that fancy new rink, but feeling like I didn't quite get my money's worth as I didn't get to hear what the goal horn sounds like. I'm sure it's pretty cool!
  22. McNaughton Cup Broadmoor Trophy NCAA Championship 2011 Fighting Sioux Hockey -- Tri-Winning!
  23. Only listed on hockeysfuture.com as one of the top 10 undrafted college players. I guess his stock isn't as bad as you suggest: Hockey's Future Link
  24. The back of the tickets say that everyone 2 years of age and older must have a ticket. It also says that entry will be at the venue's discretion, unless proof of age is provided. If the child looks younger than 2, I'd probably take my chances. If you carry him/her in, I doubt anybody would question it.
