Just got an email from UND. As a season ticket holder, we're being given access to purchase tickets now to the NCHC tournament. Seat locations will be prioritized based on when you purchase the tickets. Just bought my four. Hopefully I'm one of the earliest and will get good seats.

I'll be sure to stop by their booth at the hockey expo and ask them how I convert my center-ice lower-level tickets at the Final Five into priority seating at the NCHC conference tournament, like the Big Ten is offering.

Agree. I would settle for a first-round exit in the WCHA tournament if it meant being in better position to win 4 in a row in the NCAAs.

So much for bracket integrity with those predictions, with a potential regional final of #2 Minnesota and #5 North Dakota. But I wouldn't doubt that the NCAA may try to stick us in the same regional.

Miami's freshman goalie Ryan McKay is putting up ridiculous numbers this season. He's split time so has only played 15 games, but his GAA is currently at 1.05 and his SV% is at .962 with 3 shutouts. Can't believe the other goalie is still getting any starts.

For the record, the title game of the Frozen Four gets numbers of anywhere from 1.3 million to 2+ million. I find that interesting considering I've heard several Bison football fans make the claim that FCS Football is bigger than D1 Hockey.

On a related note, UMTC hasn't fared very well in regionals away from the Twin Cities. The last time they made it to the Frozen Four by playing in a regional away from home was 11 years ago.

Not until the NCAA allows the regionals to be held at on-campus arenas again.
