Mario Lamoureux has 8 goals in his first 20 games in the ECHL this season. He only scored 17 career goals in 148 games at UND.

Not a very classy post-game interview by Jeff Jackson if you ask me, specifically his response to the waved-off goal. We've been on the wrong end of plenty of those calls, and it seems like Hakstol usually deflects the discussion to other areas of the game.

You have O'Donnell as a healthy scratch?

I agree with Grimaldi centering the third line to start the season. I have a feeling we might see O'Donnell on the top line to start the season. Keep the #2 line alone. Don't mess with a good thing. Then Rodwell and maybe St. Clair on the third line with Rocco. Gaarder, Pattyn, & pick a freshie to round out the fourth line.

I have a different perspective on the UND Hockey vs. NDSU Football debate. When NDSU was preparing for the national semifinal game on their home field last season, which many would argue was the biggest home game ever played in their history, I was able to pick up a couple great sideline tickets online. As I didn't have a huge desire to go to the game, I thought I'd see if I could make a few bucks off the tickets. The best offer I got was $80/ticket. I know people who have gotten more than that for a regular season UND hockey game vs. Denver or Duluth. I also know people who have gotten $200/ticket for a regular season game vs. the Gophers.

I think Brad Berry is the real x-factor!

Relatively speaking, the attendance was good. But I still think the attendance was surprisingly low. Attandance was actually higher for the regional title game in Denver between the same teams in 2007. Still scratching my head about that.
